dont need to memorize just when you harvest, have the seeds in your inventory and only harvest 1 type of crop at a time. so for instance harvest all rice, then plant rice, then harvest tomatoes, then plant tomatoes etc.. until all crops are done. that's how you can keep replanting same spots without mermorizing anything after the first set up.

Fertilizer depends. If your crops are getting the companion buffs then there’s no need to use any fertilizer. If not then it is beneficial. Only one I would suggest is the harvest boost since that gives you more crops per harvest

It's totally random if you get regular seeds or flow seeds. Regular seeds has a higher chance to drop from it is all I know. Took me 5-6 days with regular seeds before I got my first flow seed.

But you could throw one of each in to the locked storage so you can see their names there

I use to use the accomplishment tab to see my fish and bugs and then neatly place the plushies on the ground to tick them off
