Depends on your optimal play time & how long you play. My friends just followed me & picked up anything I farmed. They took breaks to go dump their bags & came back. Pretty chill. Usually somebody will invite you to party if you ask & are like hey I’m new & need help leveling up. Even if you don’t have the tool at the right level & they do you get the loot

As you level the skill, you get more available at certain npc stores. Ashura woodwork, hodari metalwork, Auni bug catching, badruu farming, Hassain for hunting Reth for cooking & tish for furniture

yeha that's been suggested a few times, specifically for tree's and/or bush crops, I suggested a specific soil type for tree's and/or bushes, which would mean they'd only have to balance set soil types, rather than everything

to get started, the trees you chop down can sometimes drop something to plant. Pine trees drop a pine cone, etc. After that, the ones you plant will eventually drop one too.

if you've planted one already, you need to water it for it to grow. Otherwise, they can drop from any tree I want to say, I got a few from some of the smaller trees when I first started playing.

Just water the one you have. When it's full grown and no longer needs water you'll see a prompt to "collect." Plant what you collect to get a new tree.

Your friend needs to go to the plot settings in the overhead housing menu (on PC it's H, I believe on controller it's L). Up at the top where they choose the plot they want to be on, there's a settings button. That's where they can change privacy settings and stuff
