Hand/wrist exercises are good overall. I used to practice and things with the ASL Alphabet for hand/wrist stretching and exercises. learning a language/letters of a language, and helping my hand and wrist movement? heck yeah

Usually when some games show ⬆️ they mean shift. Since (some, not all) keyboards show an up arrow on the shift key

As someone who has hand/finger/wrist issues, i def recommend having it as a toggle- where you just have to hit Shift once to run, and not having to hold it. It helps relieve some strain on your finger(s)

There's also auto run (exists on switch too) and I like to use it to aim at coordinates better that folks call out or mark where I'm after in the map while my character stays running

Some can help with toggles-- like we were talking about with Shift to run. Most (not all sadly) games have this, along with other settings. Palia doesn't have many, admittedly, but I wanted to bring it up anyways!

Like one of the games I have, i made sure to select the toggle to just hit the button once to craft something, instead of needing to hold down the button lol. it just helps my fingers

Palium nodes stay around for several minutes after they're mined by the first player they're mined by so it automatically is a shared resource. That node then auto respawns to another location on the map immediately after the previous node disappears for the server. You do not have to call anything out, that's just personal preference.

Anyone equating common courtesy and elected etiquette with hard fast rules are not being truthful.

I do enjoy the game, and I'm glad there are still people who find joy in it currently. I'm more disappointed that the game seems to be in a slump at best, or going downhill at worst. I felt the same way about the complainers back when I played it daily.
