I understand that we aren't able to know about any repercussions for another user, but everyone here is affected when appropriate action is not taken. Maybe they got a warning, but their behavior warranted a mute. Others have been muted for less.

I can accept if this was a mistake. Today was wild and the mods had a lot to worry about. But I hope that S6 and the mods can work together to find a consistent way to enforce the guidelines that were mentioned in the community news post today. A lot of those guidelines seem vague and/or subjective, but I think it's pretty easy to judge when someone is being actively antagonistic and disruptive.

Honestly it was probably my fault for being here. Usually if a mod is active in the chat they'd be the one to make the public warn, but since I was here actively chatting it I think I made it a bit confusing. To be transparent, I've never actually done any mod actions. I actually wrote I think 3 different drafts to address this specific user but every time I felt comfortable to send it felt like the conversation might have moved on already and I didn't want to stir it up again. To be even more transparent, if you haven't noticed, I'm a pretty slow typer and that really hurts my ability to address some of these things. I'll take it as a note to make sure it's clear with the mod team when I need help with the public warns.

The only vegetable was onions and it was the only reasonable way to make money, and we made so. many. onions. i couldn’t tie my shoes and what was super lousy was that i switched (pun unintended but acknowledged) from switch to PC just bc the game became unplayable on switch and there’s some cases on PC where the game doesn’t accept the A (which is the accept button) button and i have to use… ZR.

(the ZR thing is smth i’ve seen in other games recently and palia doesnt have official controller support so im not mad that it’s like that on PC, just… mad that i had to use a PC in the first place to play the game…)

Don't hold your breath. God knows what they have in store for us. It was supposed to be multiplayer but so many complained about that it's slowly morphing into a single player game. If they didn't need the cash shop it'd be an offline solo game by now.

Optional co-op dungeons can very well be something that can exist in this game. I'd love it to be in this game. esp since again, it could be something optional.

To go in the direction of dungeons in MY opinion ( you can have yours as well) that would be going in a different direction than the game is right now

I want to mention when I talk about dungeons, I'm just using it as a name. I don't know how else to describe or explain them. I'm not talking about what ppl may think of when they play WoW or ff14. I'm referring to,

Multiple people trying to complete a specific goal in said instance. Whether it's a very simple puzzle with others (standing on a pressure plate, holding a lever, etc). Collecting materials for an NPC in said location. Something that just ends up helping with getting more resources for some, while also having and achieveing a co-op and multiplayer feeling.

And when I talk about it, again, it'd be something that is optional. Not something that will feel mandatory. I wouldn't mind having some limited/exclusive specific things in there though-- like a clothing piece or a plush or whatever (esp since with trading now being a thing, at least for plushies).

I definitely am not thinking of a group of players talking with eachother, trying to beat up bosses and potentially being defeated. Players shouldn't have to use 3rd party apps/websites to do the (small amount of) multiplayer content..

And I always pictured it something that people wont feel like they have to actually participate in. And you can still buy the food/resources needed that said enemies/mobs potentally drop. Or, you know, with trading expanded upon so other players could help out.

Just saw the latest Nikki trailer, and to tie it into Palia here, I just-- It just feels more and more stark the differences. S6 thinks Palia will go bankrupt if they give a free hat, meanwhile Nikki is throwing gorgeous free outfits after free outfits at us and people are still spending their money. I and others spend money because they've given us so much for free

and it always makes me sad that Palia doesn't want to take that "risk".

I learned about it too late. And that was in this server too! So if I wasn’t here I wouldn’t have known about the renown cap. Thankfully it’s raised now to 10k but I’m not sure if players know about the cap if they’re not in the server (or other S6 social medias)

This precisely. I play OSRS which also has some insane RNG rates for some stuff, but it's also implemented in a way that is way more rewarding than Palia's system. Not to mention that there are also actual drop tables that are well documented. And an actual trading system and a player based economy.

I don't mind RNG and stuff. In some way, I can see how it can even be a goal for things. but I just feel like everything is RNG in Palia currently. So it just feels pointless. Esp when a lot of it has no pity system (as far as I'm aware), so a lot of it just ends up feeling... unrewarding.

And there's tons of other activities that don't even involve RNG and hoping something drops. I personally don't feel like I have that in Palia currently!

Honestly I'm suprised they're not working with the systems they already have and adding to it. Simple changes like being able to trade x amount of bugs to get the starred version or x amount of gems to get a starred version would make the grind more bearable. Simple QoL changes and players would be more interested since decor and plot decorating is end game in my eyes. Almost everyone I know if maxed on renown so I'm curious what their plans are besides increase the limit. It doesn't fix the situation of the fact we have nothing to use it on.

ye! or like, in FFXIV's case for example, a mount dropping from an extreme fight is RNG (and then you gotta roll highest in your party to get it), but every time you do the fight you get a token and you can eventually trade those tokens in for the mount

the battery is pretty average depending on the graphics settings you play on. so my rog ally is maybe 1-1.5 hours depending on the game, sometimes 2 if it's something low stress like stardew valley

i bought my legion go and i admittedly haven't had a ton of time to play on it due to work just absolutely inundating me lately but from what i can tell so far it's maybe about the same?

i'll say i enjoy the legion go more just because of the screen, but tbh the rog ally performs just as well and it goes on sale a lot in the US

playing palia on both has been really easy and i kind of prefer it to sitting at my pc. i would recommend a rog ally before i would recommend anyone play palia or really anything not nintendo-specific on a switch

S6 made a big mistake with this rare RTB plush hunting..... People are getting real nasty out there... I was just attack because I was standing at a lure but had a real life problem I had to attend to and was not throwing bombs... Being accused of sniping the RTB when spawning upsets me because I would never do something like that...

The thing is it is happening to others all the time .... reading chat is not a joy anymore...

The environment regarding the RTB is really getting toxic and the longer it takes people to get plushies the worse it gets....

think is, the butterfly can spawn at multiple locations, and everyone that participates on a lure gets the bugs too as long as their throwing. you not doing anything isn’t gonna hurt anyone else just you cuz you won’t get loot (i think you would tho in a party?) so all the toxicity isn’t really needed and i think a lot of players exp new ones don’t realize that

I agree that S6 could've done a better job with the drop rate or something, because this kind of stuff happens anytime a new plush is added and the RTB is already rare as it is. Remember to use the block function! Then the mean people just have to scream into the void and you don't have to see any of their messages.

I wish they would have made a bug catch apalooza again where you are guranteed all new flower seeds and plushies so you know you got at least one of every new thing. So they can even adress the old critcs they got and improve it. I really wish they would do more of those apalooza evenets. tbf i kinda wish all plushies you can get by doing activities are available in the claw machine as sort of a rare pickup, so you are encouraged to not only do maji market but also obtain them in doing skills like fishing for fish plushies

Yeah me and my friend made a feedback list once and we asked for an apalooza once every 3 or 4 month. Like daliah mentioned a cooking contest in one of her quest. Maybe she could team up with reth and you should help her make some cake or even a new reciepie, a wood choping contest with ashura, hunting with hassian etc. There are so many ways they could make this game more enjoyable. Cause even the bug fixes they are attending on in the patch notes as fixed arent fixed. I still glitch while climbing or my charackter wouldnt climb up, insects are still spawning in the wall or under the ground, sometimes my loot bags are still under the ground and i cant get them but they said its fixed. I dont know who they wanna bambozel us or there bosses.

I found it and called it and i waited 20 minutes for one to come cause no one carred. They are only now carring for it cause the grove spawns a rare creatuer or insict in it and has a high chance of spawning the rtb with star.

We got some new free hairstyles a couple patches ago I think, and this most recent patch we got some colored eyeliner for free. The game is in open beta for nearly a year and 2 years with the closed beta. I kinda lose hope in the game and me and a lot of friends are gonna quit it cause you see a lot of other studios are doing better with this situations like infinte nikki or palword they are doing hot fixes realy quick. Like how they decrease the spawn rate of chapaas in chapaa chase every maji markt but you need to get more and more chapaas evey round. The Jackpot was bugged and they didnt hot fixed it but you were requiered to win it once for the stamp card. Why didnt they fixed it.

They've had a lot of issues getting certain things to work properly but there are other things from early tests that seemed to work just fine that are... Still not in the game for some reason.

There were mass layoffs and a lot of people quitting at the company last year around the time they got bought out and development has been even more slow than it was back in the pre-alpha / alpha days.

They're (presumably) putting all their eggs in the basket of Elderwoods, the next map coming out, in the next few months. A lot of us feel like it's going to be a make or break moment for the game so we'll see how it pans out.

If we get a full blown miracle moment and Elderwoods is spectacular, is the rest of the game still going to be so buggy? It's something I've worried about for a while, but even more so after they posted a dev blog that implied that their work on Elderwoods is what was slowing down their efforts on the game we currently have.

My concern with Elderwood, is something that Roan mentioned in the past. About skills and tools. A lot of folks already have max tools and really really high lvl skills. It might feel redundant or not as... exciting? I guess? Not sure on the word-- to see new resources and collect it.

And granted, there might be new/better 'tools' or something, but it still is going to feel... not as... impactful! that might be the word! Not as impactful getting new things like that due to very high skills already. And it's def a concern (at least for myself).

The other concern is, of course, Gales specifically. Theres still players who can't finish the story because theyre stuck at gales for one reason or another. I just hope that doesn't mean people will be locked out from the zone (not sure why it would, but you never know).

You can get stickers by doing just about anything in the game. (even if thats tilling soil or opening an oyster.) it's completely random when they drop.

I just started playing this game yesterday and it's disheartening to see some of the comments in the discord server about the game and under-performance. 😅 I have encountered several bugs in the game, but still as a newcomer I have been amazed by the game mechanics compared to similar games, eg when it comes to cooking as an action. I was planning to even purchase the premium content to have more looks or outfits (as there's not much customization for the character by default), but reading the comments here actually have made me reconsider for the time being haha. 🤣 I really hope the S6 team pulls together and after the new map gets released, also starts putting effort into fixing stuff that is broken and listening to community's feedback.

I will say, I know i can be very critical of the game. But know that even though I say that, I'm still passionate about the game and hoping for the best! And I still enjoy seeing others enjoy the game. I still love the game and community.

And I would say this with any game, esp one in beta-- Make sure you have the spare money to spend on the premium shop! Def always play a bit longer to make sure you think it's worth! (Which I know you said you did already, but just basically adding on and saying that's good hahah, saying as someone who impulse buys stuff more often than i'd like to admit)

And we're definitely all hoping that once Elderwood drops, that things start getting a lot better. Communication, fixing bugs, accessibility, etc

It's from her guild store so you have to go to her actual person and open the store that's within the dialog options, it's 200 guild tokens for the starter set items (you craft the rest via inspiration). It's also visually bugged and shows as the lily rattan set but it is the spa set.
