Partying up can help increase the sets of eyes on the prize and maybe even give you a double loot drop while partied!

That's totally understandable and valid. I will say though plenty of smaller, much more chilled out "parties" are happening all the time just on a casual, within server basis. Just one or two other people doing a few lures can help your chances at everyone getting the bug you're after. Of course this game is play at your own pace and style, but these super rare drops make it very hard to continue to play solo sometimes. I totally get your feelings of overwhelm there.

I hope you find a good trade or get that plush the next time you're bug hunting!

It's just rng, its a 25% chance you get one every day you loot. You can improve your chances though by planting and growing the other, non flow seeds you get and also by looking into the inventory full trick!

That's my point- it's not an overall, cumulative chance. It is only a 25% chance each time you loot the statue. The next day, it is also 25%. It just comes down to chance and luck unfortunately. But once you get the seeds you can also request them btw!

Yeah I agree, and personally think it has to do with the issue at the foundation of the fact that most "odds" we know aren't shared with us (and thus toeing a server rule) and usually found on places that are third party (yes, even the wiki is not s6 run, but player made and operated) so even when we "know" things, they could be wrong, outdated, tinkered with, etc and we wouldn't know because we aren't told directly. It's a bigger issue at hand than just seeds as you can see!

I'd still suggest a support or feedback ticket if you have the time and desire. The more voices that care the more eyes on issues that might have otherwise been swept under ormuu rug.

First of all what platform are you playin on? It's a little different for console versus pc/steam

Okay bear with me since I don't play on switch as often- I think the housing selection menu is a joystick press on the left one, then you can go to the top drop down (might be [-]?) to change your plot settings to "allow friends" or "allow anyone on server" as well as add people as editor to your plot!
Let me know if this works or if I'm off base!

Once your plot is "open" you can have folks visit by adding you in game then coming to your plot via the blue plot visit board near your kilima gate

Additionally you can post your plot to the weekly tour board (that's the green one opposite of the blue) for folks to visit and vote on your plot even when you're offline

I first started playing on the switch. That was last April. It wasn't bad then but now I'd rather play on PC instead 😅 Ive had my switch since 2018 and it stays docked now lol. Some games run fine, like Animal crossing new horizons or Dreamlight valley. But Palia struggles sometimes. I've had more luck than others but typing is a pain. And load times are slow, and the graphics are bad, sometimes go through the floor and lots of other issues

My laptop isn't able to launch the game natively but I've found success in using the free tier of GeForce Now which is an online app that you can play higher demand games on for hour play time sessions on GeForce's servers. It limits your play time obvs and you have to watch ads and wait in a queue to re-enter the game, but I'm able to play palia, palworld, Once Human, etc on my crappy lappy tappy. Might be a useful tip for your friend to look into!

I've had three bluebristle muujin plushy drops and still not a single star mane drop....curious what the drop rates are.

I'm not totally sure on the specifics, but I know it took me a fair amount of hunting to get even one to drop. It's rough out here

I struggle the most with the muujin, just because of the chop, hit, chop, hit. Maybe try partying up with someone and jamming out as much as you can, it should help it go much faster, if anything

I avoid the muujin like the plague for this reason. I'm too solo for spending a half hour trying to cull the population of one tree

I've been using the slow arrows on the muujin and it's working pretty well, it stops them from getting into a tree probably 95 percent of the time, if you land an arrow immediately their health bar pops up..as long as you keep hitting your shots the health bar stays up and makes it easier to see them

I really recommend partying up if you're struggling though. If anything it'll make it easier to hunt, and more fun
