You can't do obstacle flick when plot is full. That's why you should do all all of them before having plot full 😅.

You can still float things and cancelation. So you can probably with the red present

Pressing H and Y at the same time on the keyboard will put you in Housing mode but in Third Person character view instead of top down view. It's a neat trick to grab detached rooms, windows, hallways from cutting tools that got way too far inside and not visible from the top down view.

Look at the colors the recipes have, crafting rare recipes will grant more xp than common ones.

I usually search for stuff like plants and decor items that I will actually need in bulk around my plot 😅

Making 100 dining chairs for example would be useless and wouldn't grant a lot of xp either if they are a common recipe

sowwy for late reply. You either place the tables or the stations first, doesnt matter. After i placed the tables i ghosted them away (pick tables up, move them out of the way and instead of placing them, u click a key where u got a placeable item, for me it was F2). After that i placed the station and reloaded plot. You can mark the middle with some pillars or just try it out multiple times til the spot of the station fits. Hope that helps.

most of the curtains let you go through their openings, but it depends on how high you put them if they have any overhead details. i have the silver leaf, bellflower, kilima, and luxe curtains in doorways and they all let me through. if you have them too low, they will block you, though ;c

and "too low" can even be "just a tiny bit lower than the highest spot on a wall", unfortunately |:U

The recipe XP is based on a value of the goods that go into the recipe:
so if you go down to the underground & pick up the "Paltech" recipes for a few hundred gold {which primarily use copper & iron} you will get much more XP if you were to say craft the Log Cabin or Camping items which use Sapwood.

Planters do tend to net more XP but those recipes are burried in the sets that you need to buy into.

I remember I did it brute force way and crafted 200+ log fences or sth for quick exp :v I'm not saying it was wise but worked (but before many updates so probably not wise at all now :vvv)

But like honestly... you can purchase the:
Homestead recipes for 25gold {you only really need 1 to start crafting the set}
Kilima recipes for 50gold {again 1 gets you in the door}
Ranch House 50gold

So if you just craft every item in the:
Log Cabin {you get for free via quests}
Camping {you get for free when you place your 1st tent}
Homestead
Kilima
Ranch House
The first craft bonus with a decent focus buff should get you at least to 7

My alt has about a 60% focus bonus & they are at about level 5, without really grinding at all.

Also something worth noting if that the XP at the moment for the "Ancient Pottery" recipe is bugged & grants way more than it should.
to obtain this - look up the quest "Ancient Grudge - New Mutiny"

I tried searching videos and saw a few glitch methods I could try but I've never tried glitching before and seems like it's all videos of setting books on a table and not a stack. I was thinking like a stack of 5-10 books on the floor...is it impossible?

the wisest thing you can do now is to learn the cancel method

I cancel the chair by selecting a gourmet bowl (but it can be what ever item you choose) from hotkey bar, then I place the fish where the chair was in the first place. Then I interact with the chair and it will go right back to where it was, so it's not cancelled anymore.

here I place the shelf, cancel it, and place it again, so the other book which is placed while cancelling, will move

People have done all kinds of things with it! I've seen gardens made there or nice lounge areas and even work shops! A lot of people put the quest tree or the bellflower fountain as a focal point and build around that. I turned mine into a koi pond. You can do a lot with it! Some people do put their garden in it as well, so you can turn it into a sort of farm if that's what you like! Also not sure if you're aware but you can also edit it to make the walls wide open to give it a more natural feel as well!

If you play on pc press H(not sure of switch command) to open your over view. If you scroll over the courtyard you can edit the windows and walls to change their size etc.

You can also change the door sizes along with window sizes on your other rooms, or remove windows completely if you dont want them

Just note with the grand harvest house you'll want to change things before adding rooms or bay windows because you cant change the upstairs if things are attached 😊

The thing is I have only used ~1,9k out of 3k decors. But the game doesn't allow me to plant any more flowers seeds in my house plot.

Okay I would love to pick everyones brains! What is the best way to create an optical illusion to make you look like you're shrinking?

So far all I can think of is doing a tunnel effect where I start with small stones then move up to large ones and use flower walls using one bunch then moving it up to 2 and 3 to make it look fuller hence bigger

Also at the begging I was thinking of using a chic table and ranch chair then in the end placing it on the roof as 4tables together then use the bench to make that look bigger

I believe some Palia partners use glitches in their videos, so I don't think it is a problem to the devs The only reason some people get ban are those that use cheats, and not glitches. Like cheating to get more than one quest reward, or playing with furniture colors that aren't released yet

I am currently building a library! But I visited some Houses using the green Board at ur plot and they Had pretty cool ideas too!

One of them is the central part of my museum plot; I made a Phoenix shrine of sorts in the middle (whole build is mainly in Emberborn style except bug and fish rooms), and all along the sides, each skill has a section of wall to display trophies related to each. Still not sure what to do with the upstairs, maybe just a lounge area of sorts with a couple bookshelves and some knick knacks on display. Still debating wether or not I will display my completed potato pods collection on that plot by either displaying them neatly or scattering them around throughout the whole museum.
(I put that plot on house tour iirc)

As for the ghh on my main plot well...I still have no clue how I'm gonna decorate it, rn it just has my giant frogbert towering in the middle of the room with a little cluttered corner, and my plushie collection sitting on and around a couch upstairs

okay, each item when placed on a shelf and turned - it snaps back to original position after u take it from shelf - position of the first item that was placed! so, put a floor there, turn the shelf with a floor and then place the pillar on it, when u pick up the floor u will see the pillar in that position (lemme know if u understand my blabber xd)

You can take all of the rooms/houses of your plot, you just need to make sure you're taking them off in order Like, you won't be able to take off a house if a room is still connected to it

An obstacle flick is something you do on your own I'm afraid because it pulls an item out of your hot bar which visitors with building permission can't place down their own item. Can only use cancel and group move as visitors.

it's a very clear miscommunication between teams, yeah. if it's not a bug, marketing clearly didn't get the news from any other team that the ducks aren't being added in, OR if it's an issue where the marketing was made a while ago and the ducks recently were taken out, marketing needed to make a new screenshot or the person in charge of dev notes needed to add in a disclaimer that the ducks aren't in the game yet but will be "soon".

if it IS a bug, they need to get someone to sit in on the discord and watch for issues so that they can immediately communicate with the community if there's something wrong or not, and take notes so that they can quickly get it to the dev team. it's really that simple, since this community is extremely fast to notice problems.

A bit off-topic from the new update but I have a bit of a problem that im facing, dont know if anyone can help. I have this setup so far. It's a dessert plate floating and anchored to another dessert plate. And on the floating dessert plate I put the pillar 😂 . I was hoping it would help with avoiding collision since I want to put it as the ceiling in a hallway, but yeah no luck so far. Does anyone have any ideas?

But it's been nearly a year since I crafted the entire PalTech set the day it was released, and because of that I missed out on two of the items from the set, and S6 still hasn't gotten those recipies out to people who missed them.

I mean, they've released lots of sets since then, and it's not been an issue.

However, this time is different. When the PalTech set was released, they listed all the items, and it was clear from the patch notes that two items were missing. Like it was a big deal people were making about it.

There hasn't been any thing like that since now. There isn't a list of items this time, but it's clear from the preview image that those ducks are missed.

Maybe we get them through some other means that hasn't been discovered yet, and maybe there's nothing to worry about, but I'm playing it safe until it's figured out.

Oh noo I hope not, I forgot about this. And it happened to me! They've fixed so many bugs but I can't belive it's been a year since this happened. I did contact support. And they couldn't give me the recipes, but upon proving i had crafted everything they sent me one Radio and one Lamp. I really want more lamps though 🫠

I was so excited for this set, the material cost so cheap I made it all. But if I can't get the ducks now, oh god 😭

I wish there was a way to remind them that, yes the bug for pal tech was fixed, but only if you hadn't made everything, and we'd like the things too
