Sometimes, even when I've got all the ingredients, the "Make" button is still greyed out. But if I click it, it still starts the cooking process. And someone said equipping (e.g. a watering can or axe) before starting to cook helps prevent getting stuck at the station that's giving you trouble.

You don't need all the ingredients for a recipe in your inventory, the cooking stations will draw from your regular storage boxes. If you DON'T want to use a special fish, for example, and you have the locked security chest, put the special item in there and it won't be used by cooking.

If you use Steam and play Palia from there then you just have to put Palia in your high priority games/ favourites so that it will automatically update them while you’re gone even tho you’re not in front of your computer

That’s also something you can do for any other games from the Steam app on your computer

So I don’t think it’ll be different with Palia

the palia launcher you usually need to launch the game with the installer to update, though sometimes it's worked for me clicking the regular shortcut but yeah you need to trigger updating yourself with launcher

there are a couple issues with that. first of all, pretty much all of the fan attempts to recreate club penguin were struck down and forced offline by disney. second of all, the fans would have to rebuild all assets from scratch. i'm part of a discord server that's trying to rebuild Pixie Hollow Online, but stuff like that requires fans to remake everything and Disney to not try and sue people for a fan recreation of a video game

Usually, I run up to the grove, tap every tree once, and then go get a drink/use the bathroom/etc.
I don't mind people not having the time, but if there's a lot of people waiting, you might rather take your time and go elsewhere... instead of ruining it for others.

Time is valuable - and that's why you shouldn't go out of your way to ruin other people's time ❤️ Because that person that wrote "OMW" and didn't get there yet, might only have enough time to see one grove that day :3

There's stuff called Renown. There are 2 shrines, Phoenix and Dragon. You Commune at them, to increase Focus. Focus is XP boost, so makes you level faster
You keep Focus up, by eating. The max Focus is 1,000. The max boost per Focus is +100%
Higher Phoenix = higher boost. Higher Dragon = higher total Focus
So... To advance faster, commune at Shrines, and eat a lot
