As for tree seeds, they will still have a chance to drop when you chop down their equivalents in the wild, but we’ve done a lot of work to freshen up the experience as you plant the seed. Trees have four stages, and like flowers, will also need water and time to pass as they go through each stage.

At any stage though, you can choose to stop growing the tree if you’re a fan of a particular look. They can still be chopped down at any point, too, for resources.```

I have no idea if this is true, but I've heard that they get the ruby if they mine it the same time as you do. But if it's after it's just random. So there's no reason to notify people since by the time you know there's a ruby it's too late for the info to be useful to them. But that's just the scoop I've heard.

As far as loot piles go, empty your inventory and fill it with furniture until full and server hop or quit and return to the game til you see the loot option available. I’ve gotten quests and recipes from them the past two days with this method.

I am super excited about upgrading the housing blueprints, my only concern is the use of the term "upgrading"
I wonder is it going to be where we actually upgrade our current paid for and built homes, or is it where we have to start from scratch and buy all new pieces to "change" the look (which is what some people's idea of upgrading is) because if the latter is the case, that will be extremely pricey, unless they start the new housing pieces where the old housing pieces started (price wise).
That wasn't made very clear.
The walkways has been a long time needed, I am stoked to see this implemented finally!

After asking around, there's loads of players who play palia muted because some of the sound effects are harsh on their ears (mine incluided). I think an overlooked aspect of the upcoming patches is the building bricks, you'll be able to build anything you like. A castle, a temple to Frogbert (not that building a temple to the doombringer will save you), even jumping puzzles! So much room to make something unique there.

yeah, I submitted a suggestion for adding in a bunch of much-needed video options as well (HDR gamma, brightness, nits, exposure) as well as the possibility of adding Depth of Field (with adjustments bar), motion blur (with adjustment bar), ray tracing (for folks who have the gpu to handle it), cleaner menu interface for adjusting resolution, screen options.... I listed a handful of blockbuster type games to give them some examples

also, it looks like they listened to player feedback regarding jumping and traversing (I hope they mean clambering)... 'improvements' as they put it... we'll see... ^_^

I run 4 jars. I feel like, at some point, you have to just run what feels aesthetically pleasing and role play appropriate for you.

If you don't eat your preserves or use them for cooking, they're basically just money printers. Too much of that makes the game a chore.

I just finished crafting all the various types of furniture, so up till this point I was using it as soon as I got it. But now I'm starting to stockpile them. I'm running the iron chests

Storing the ore in the smelters themselves helps a little bit, and you can leave a full stack or two of bars in the smelters to help as well.

And I feel like I'm full up on that front. obv this varies with like how you set your stuff up and your personal taste, so this is only applying to me.

Breaking iron ore in Bahari spawns scintilating centipedes which give silk. That's how I've gotten most of mine. Plus, you'll have rock/iron to sell.

I feel like once you catch more bugs, you get better at catching bugs. I definitely had this pattern of like . . . the first time I caught something and learned its spawns and appearance, I started catching them way more.

I definitely won’t go out of my way but I attended a 200 cake party some time ago and I’m STILL processing those cakes. I haven’t been online as much as I usually am tho because a sea cable is broken in my area so international traffic gets rerouted and makes it difficult to log into Palia at times.

Somehow your brain gets wired to pick them out of the environment. XD Especially ones that are similar to others. Like Bahari Glow Bugs were invisible to me before I had to catch one, and now I get them regularly. Same with like Gossamer Veil Moths, Stripeshell Snails, and others. Anybody else have that happen?

Yeah I need to catch them more often. I usually go get vamp crabs in FF or the purple snails when I do my weekly uncommon bug quest

That's how I was getting silk before, but the centipedes spawn way more regularly for me.

I did this a week or so ago. Just straight up picked up all my houses. Took 30 minutes for the "XYZ was moved to storage" notifications to stop... Soon as they did and I started rebuilding I hated myself.

It’s that zooming thing during bug hunting. You move soooo slow in it and I always used to stay in zoom menu like a noob. Now I switch in and out as I need to.
