When picked, it branches off the dialogue into the different types of hangout you can do. Selecting one starts a 'quest' to go to a specific area of the map, which will have an instance prompt when you approach. Inside is the NPC you chose. The rest should be simple dialogue coding + follow-player script (with 'stay here' being something you can tell the NPC to do).

So i been testing it. both the non starred, AND the starred bat ray both start out red. the non starred is less wiggly and can be caught with correction, but the starred bat ray has too much wiggly and falls out or stays out of the red brackets too fast, with or with out buffs, and in my opinion the mere fact they start out red right off the bat ( no pun intended) seems that they are indeed bugged.

an easy way to do it is to go to the flow groves that spawn at midnight in bahari bay. lots of people go to those and will call out the location of the grove when it shows up, but you can see them by noticing the big pink cloud that is above them in the sky
