That’s true. Can be hard seeing a loved one change due to grief… When you don’t know how to be there for them you feel like your presence is unwanted and no amount of dinner invitations will change your mind because you were invisible when you were there.

I haven't burned out on Palia yet. It usually takes me 2 months to burn out on any given game if I play it obsessively. However, I've been attempting to buffer the burnout by playing other games such as minecraft (although I might actually be a little burned out of minecraft right now ngl)

Chayne and Ashura are long-time friends, which is a special, unique bond. But you may have noticed in the relationship chart above that Chayne is a “Shepp” of Hassian and Sifuu, which is a whole different kind of bond.

"Shepp" is a Majiri word with a similar meaning to “mentor”. Joining a village is a rite of passage in Majiri society. In order to do so, certain tasks must be completed and you must find a Shepp, who officially sponsors you joining a community. A Shepp is responsible for teaching a new villager the ways of the village. Perhaps someday you'll need to seek out a Shepp that can help you find your path to acceptance into Kilima?

depends on the mites. did you know that everyone with clear skin actually has mites that help clean the pores when they sleep? This is why regularly scheduled sleep of a certain length of time is so good for your skin. So if you have a loved one with acne, and your skin is clear, cuddle up to them when you're both sleeping so you can infect them with your clear skin mites

the worst is finding a grove, announcing it, waiting patiently for everyone who said they were coming to find it, and then crashing right as you start to chop

And that is why I hope the devs will implement a different item drop system. Just have it if you are nearby you can loot what drops from the node, and if you tap it yourself then instead of losing it, the loot will be automailed to you if you don't pick it up before it despawned. That method would remove the limited hits issue on palium nodes, let anyone that second or two late still get the ore or the wood from flow trees, and let you tap and move on instead of having to camp a palium node or flow tree. Just announce where it is and move on knowing you will be mailed the loot later.

I'm familiar with that term from like, limited runs on merch. so in that context a "drop system" is a system wherein a seller makes a batch of items that don't go on sale until a particular date.

Yeah in this case it is "Item drop" which is anything the particular mob will give as loot. Which also leads to things like "Loot table" and "Drop table" being synonyms.

Just remember when you are gathering material, for stuff to spawn, (dari cloves, heat root, sweetleaf, bugs, flow trees, ore) you have to remove what is there...kill bugs, pick plants, and mine other ore/rock, so it has a chance to spawn....if you just go la ti dah....and dont mine/pick plants/bomb useless bugs....then you won't ever find it...just sell all the excess.

Oh, it works like this, you go for it purposely you get one. When you're out and about and you looking for Dari Cloves, you decide to fish, and you get another. You're chilling with a friend helping them fish, you'll get another after that. When you're looking for something to do, and you decide "screw it" and lets fish for some makeshift treasure, you again got another one. When you're out looking for Coral to make Dowsing Rods, you see two others fishing, and you join them, another one. 🤣

A "Closed" beta means that it's invite only.

Cooking is by far my highest skill, but it took me a while to find a groove. My main tips are to just cook the recipe as it comes, unless it's a meat choice I just go to the station and click to prepare that ingredient.

There are several dishes that need attention at the starting point during preparing. An extra stir or flip. If you miss that stir/flip you'll only get 2 of the dish you're cooking and not 3

Been trying to switch some settings to get rid of some stutters and also wanted to try and run the game in DX11, when I save the settings it tells me a reboot might be needed for some settings. The Maji Market area I used as a suggestion for a regular player market - with the limited player count per server, there really is no excuse not to give people the chance to run a stall at the market, at least once a week or month - to more easily part with their items to other players 🙂

That's because it is 2 different teams 🙂 The support team responds to tickets, and relays to the development team. Some bugs are just harder to fix than others. I had a few doozys in my development days.
