Bringing star stones into the game was essentially useless then. I keep four of each one. I’ve sold a ton, but had I hoarded them: I’d have 25ish Ruby and onyx, well over 100 garnet, citrine, and quartz. Probably 30-40 amethyst and aquamarine. Nearly 10 emerald (I find that the least) and probably 15 sapphire.

All trees have sapwood and heartwood, if that helps 🙂 Sapwood is the lighter "living" wood that carries sap. Heartwood is the inner darker wood that is dead, but strong. So you can get either type of wood from trees, although older trees would have more heartwood. IRL info, not game specific. It just means that the game is not "wrong" by giving us either type of wood seeing as trees have both.

I only play about every 3 to 4 days. When I log in, all my seeders, smelters, preservers, and wormers are full and ready to go. That's about 60-100K, right there, depending on which veggies I have been processing. I log in, tend garden, sell jams and excess seeds, then I go hunting. I use my hunting to feed my 🪱, for basically free, using 🍖 and 🍄 . Whilst out hunting, I also mine and forage, and either sell, cook, or smelt what I find. Once I have filled up my farms, I log out. That usually takes about 6-10 Palian days. I make ~115K, per day

The Switch launch is December 14th, and if you'd read the patch update today, you'd know that today's update (the second update in one week's time, not counting a hotfix) is the last one scheduled for 2023 -- which means that no, this is all in advance of the Switch launch.

Sorry but Palia isn't Beta, it's still Alpha. The problems they're having, the bugs that keep multiplying, the nerfs, all those are what you expect in Alpha. Beta should be a pretty cleaned up game with only minor issues to be ironed out.

It was a relatively easy way to make a lot of gold. Most of the people that don’t care about things being nerfed have acquired a lot of their gold prior to big nerfs. Therefore, they have the resources (a high amount of crafters) to do things simultaneously. OR they have the time to spend hours on end playing the game. There are many newer players, players with a busy offline life, players with disabilities, you name it. If nerfs have to happen for other things to be introduced, so be it. I just wish some of the items being nerfed would’ve lasted longer before being sliced and diced.
