There are stations in cake parties where you don’t even need to contribute anything you can just put the cake in the oven and take it out and you’ll get the cakes. I think the easiest position is sweet leaf because you go first when the recipe starts and then you don’t have to worry about timing until the next cake starts. So I’d collect 50 or 100 sweet lead depending on if it’s a 50 or 100 cake party

Some people the quest ended after doing 8 candles with villagers so I was gonna wait but decided to do it and I was able to do all the villagers. I started at the beginning of the day, in bahari and did everyone there first then went to kilima and did the rest of the villagers. After that I got three pronged candlevra recipe which triggered me getting valley sunrise recipes. Think that’s a mistake though. Also don’t go home before you talk to everyone or it’ll end the quest

I appreciate new content, don't get me wrong. But I've logged 8 crashes so far and I know many other have had far more than that. The bugs aren't just little things, it's the ability to log into the game at all for some. The last patch felt rushed and when the servers crashed randomly things only got worse from there. Personal opinion is that they should be deploying more hot fixes and then putting out more content next week to get the worst bugs until control.

Just out of curiosity, I know this last patch was supposed to help the achievement bugs to some degree or another. Has anyone else’s achievement bug been fixed? Mine is still broken sadly…. Even if I catch a fish or bug again, as soon as I log out it’s gone again. I had thought that maybe their adjustments to achievements would help that they mentioned on patch notes would help this. Guess I’m just curious what other peoples experience is? I’m assuming it’s only fixed for some people, or only for people who didn’t have the complete breakdown of their achievements maybe.

I think a toggle is PLENTY for anything related to that, diminishing the experience for literally everyone else, imo, undermines the quality of the game. You can't just make games for people that are color blind and never use any colors that they couldn't notice. I think it's better to just have a brightness option. Not like the game is competitive

When I crafted the winterlight candle it triggered sunrise valley item recipes, if you keep crafting it unlocks more. Then after I finished teh candle quest I got three pronged candelbra recipe and afer I crafted that it unlocked even more recipes... i got the edging from those recipes. I guess its not the same for everyone not everyone got the accidentally released recipes

But check your crafting table under "G" recipes its in alphabetical order, and see if you have any garden variety things to craft that will trigger more recipes. You then somewhere else place it so it says 2/56 to make a double post with no lights. move them together to make a line and connect the lights to your posts! if that makes sense. Try looking for any recipe that says "Garden Variety" or "Sunrise Valley", sort by 'Never Crafted' and see if any of them pop up. There's other recipes too, such as the edgings and generic lights but those should be most of what you have to look out for

There's a chance you didn't get lucky and lost the RNG run on the first try, but getting the candelabrum from the quest should help trigger another one

Maybe it is that I am used to permasprinting, so the movements are pretty smooth, but when my dude normal runs, the back of his head bounces almost higher than my reticle. maybe it always did that

sometimes he slower runs, though, and it looks fine. do you got a speed boost in your home plot?

Pressing shift will make you run faster. 😅 Don't think that's the case though.

shift makes it look alright. just pressing W makes him bounce a lot. and like i said, maybe it always has been that way, because I spend almost all my time sprinting, but boy howdy is it distracting

nope, that's definitely a more niche bug than what I've seen mentioned in the chat. The walk animation is a little bouncy, but more if the character walked on their toes instead of hopping along
