The second plot (and subsequent) will have the same trees/rocks that have been removed. So if you remove everything all plots will be bare of foliage/nodes I took stuff out of inv so I could move a chest over there. (it was STUFFED). And then you have the same 15 room limit and according to others the same 2000 item limit per plot. Starting with the Harvest house, one per plot

But a few are found around the world as objects too.

I eventually made my way back for this quest, but in general are there any more detailed maps out there for people like me who get really turned around? The in-game map only gives the highest top-down view, so it's hard to know where paths are, especially when crossing north or south of the aqueduct.

I have a question about farming. If I plant a thing and it gives me a boost, and then I harvest the thing, does the boost go away? Should I not havest it until the thing I want boosted is done?

Like, if I plant cotton and wheat around my apple tree and I havest them does my apple tree not get a boost anymore?

you know, this is something I'm unsure of as well, but something I've noticed with my crops that give a water boost so I don't have to water everything is that when they are ready to harvest, they stop giving the boost.

So what I'm thinking is that the game kind of "re-evaluates," so to speak, what boosts are around your crops at 6 am and 6 pm every day aside from maybe crops that have been ready to harvest and left there...and as long as you have the stuff planted like you want to when that time comes, the boosts will stay in effect.

If someone has different information from the devs, that would be helpful, but it's just something I've noticed.

It is indeed Rare! If it's a star-quality one that you caught, I'd recommend keeping it if you want to display all of the creatures on a plot. Otherwise, you can get more of them later with more fishing and some luck

I've told people over and over again that I would use my apples...

And in any case this is ASSUMING that someone is purely out to sell them (btw this greatly reduces profit with that assumption on cake parties too, but no one is complaining about that). You don't buy the apples, therefore, after the start up cost, it technically costs you nothing to bring apples aside from the time - unless you use fertilizer.

Selling apples is purely profit that you don't have if you intend on keeping them to cook, and most of mine I do keep to cook with.

I can't even convince people to split it up 3 ways when people are completely unwilling to join my parties with any apples in the first place.

like I could split mixing/apple chopping/rolling if people would work it out with me, but they don't so 🤷🏻‍♀️

Well it was a exaggeration, but if you say 100 crafts, 3 apples each 96g, thats 28.8k g investment.
If you got 33.7k, thats a profit of 4.9k

Yep, you can buy the recipes for copper chest and iron chest from Tish's furniture store. You can only have 8 storage chests on your plot (excluding locked chests, which you can have 3 of), but those 8 are upgradable up to Iron where your storage will cap at 10k

How I do it is, 200 wood, 200 of that woods plank. 200 of each bar if I can manage. Only time I keep fish or bugs is for the bundles. If I'm cooking with an ingredient, I ask myself if I care to work my garden up to HQ production only. If not I sell the HQ stuff, keep NQ stuff. Anything over 200 stack gets culled. If I don't need it, I don't keep it. I only farm for when I need something. Like if I'm going to make a bunch of furniture, I'll farm what the materials are, use them all. I use everything shortly after I'm back at home. I still have base storage and almost all my tools are max upgrade, almost all skils are 10 +. Never bought an upgrade chest. I can save that 25,000 for something more entertaining if I manage storage right.

New studio, first game. little over 1 month into OPEN BETA and it runs better than a lot of well established AAA titles on official release. Don't lose sight of the fact that they just opened the doors and they are already doing things better than literally over half the gaming industry. A ton of games in the last 2 years have launched with bugs so intense they melt GPU's.

Sure if you are thinking small. You are correct. But lets play devils advocate. a costume that's 25$ goes free for a short say ... one week period. They give it out for 1 week. and 50% of the player base, lets assume 200,000 players want that exact outfit. They have zero inclination to purchase anything else. So 100,000 players just got there 25$ costume free. Just like that the game loses out on 2.5 million dollars in revenue. On one simple "cater to the masses" decision. Now the numbers might be off, but even 1,000 players getting a 25$ outfit free is 25,000$ which is no small chunk. Especially in California where everything and I do mean everything is more expensive. So yeah ......

I thought about sending in a feedback form/suggestion for a new clothing slot. One we can hide or reveal over any outfit we are wearing. So boots/pants/gloves/shirt/hat (and/or eye wear) that we quest for at a certain point. For each skill, or maybe when they add specializations. And that outfit buffs the skill. So like, a gardener specialization does a quest with Baadru and it's an outfit that buffs you for gardening. Whatever those buffs are, I don't know. But I thought it would be interesting to see people that are clearly miners, or hunters ect ect.

The company did not lose 2.5 mill revenue. That is potential, not realized revenue. They could have not lost a single dollar. Likely they did lose a amount of money, but surely not anywhere near those amounts. Cake parties breathed new life into the game for me "forcing me to be social" and the gold then letting me focus on decorating which in turn gave me incentive to go out farming mats and so on. Oh, I've had that happen a couple of times. What you can do is to come from the back of the pond over to the side where there's rocks (behind the waterfall), then glider over to the far left point and try to get underneath the pier. From there, /unstuck should put you up on top again. (It's not perfect but it does get you out.)

I think this game fits the "chapter/new map" release type of games. So if you join something - like Genshin Impact - now there is tons of stuff to do as they have had years to push out additional content, but it takes time to add those new chapters and maps with all of their local NPCs, quests, conversations etc. And Palia is just at the very start and the very first map. At least that is how I envision expanding updates might be.

I don't think there's any standardized definition for what is and isn't a beta when put in the context of publicly playable games. Should there be? Probably so. But there isn't. I think it is the duty of consumers to inform themselves of what is actually in a game before purchasing. For me Id rather see a map ping system, a few morefarming plots, and maybe a mailbox type system in each town so you could mail yourself materials from your inventory straight into your storage chest without having to travel home when your inventory is full before VOIP. I get why people want it but its not something I care about

I've seen such a diversity of cultures in this game - African naming structures, foodstuff that's Japanese/Korean/Vietnamese/Chinese/Mexican/American in origin (hot dogs are definitely American)... it's actually really cool. And Maji Market reminded me of a Chinese moon festival in how it was done.

Yes, sausage comes from multiple cultures (including Germany/Austria but not limited to them, many cultures had sausages) whereas the specific shape/format of a hot dog as shown in the Hot Hounds image is distinctly the Americanized format of portrayal with a bun, ketchup/mustard, etc. So we're both technically right -- and realistically hot dogs are international now as much as hamburgers are.
