in the case of "will we offer something in the future" looking into it just means discussing it. When it's an issue of "this feature we rolled out seems to not be going as we expected and people are upset" looking into it means figuring out solutions, they're different situations so looking into it is going to entail different things. Now, it's very possible they don't actually come to a conclusion that will satisfy everything and everyone, and I understand the cynicism to feel like it means nothing will happen, but this had a LOT of feedback and that's what betas are for! So I have hope and faith that they are doing what they can and what they need to at the moment, I was merely pointing out they've addressed that the feedback has been received and the implication of their post is that they are working on solutions, so that's a good sign

Hell I think there's a monetary benefit to not doing human holidays. Do Palia holidays some other time. Every game has Halloween, so people will pick and choose which game to spend money on. If Palia has a holiday in February instead, no other games are running a holiday purchase event.

yes, but the mine has not a sharing drop, and if its just mined regularlly as any other mine it will eventually be just like a regular mine. Cause when you mine it alone you get 100% loot, but if you share it you dont, like flow tree you get drop even tho you share it. Now people advertise for sharing ores, making them spend time waiting minutes on people to arrive instead of just mine it, gather, then move on to next material need.

Maybe you're just confused about the amount of ores a deposit can give? I've had smalls give anywhere from 1-2 ores, mediums from 1-5 ores, and large are like 6-12 ores. Being the only one that hits them or being one of 8 people that hit it made no difference in the amount of ore one would expect from a deposit.
Otherwise, if it was shared evenly among everyone, everybody would almost always get only a single ore from a large deposit if enough people hit it.

so i confirmed that it's definitely a bug that seems to be causing me to sometimes harvest with the harvest boost, and sometimes not, but it's random. cause i harvested two blueberry bushes, both of which were bordering the exact same rice/wheat plants. one gave me 9 blueberries and one gave me 6, despite both showing "harvest boost" above them and both bordering the same crops lol.

Gameplay reflects that most nodes can be done solo so that is dev intention

It depends on the situation. If I'm with a party leveling all the trees in a section of Bahari trying to get flow trees to spawn, and nobody else in the server is taking part, we don't call them out. If I'm specifically on a palium run and the server is quiet, I just do my thing and keep going. Sure, callouts are nice, but they don't mesh with every single style of gameplay.

As for trees, they dont have set spawns. If you find a random tree, you are expected to stop what you are doing and wait for other people to arrive? It's not selfish to want to value your time.

I don't think that's how palium works. There's a set chance for it to spawn in certain locations. Removing one node resets that specific node, which may respawn palium after some time has passed. But it could also respawn as a regular rock node. That's why on palium runs you need to get whatever rock is in the spawn location every time. It's also why it can be frustrating to be on a run, doing all the work, but someone comes and snags the palium node that appears and leaves all the other ones untouched.

I think the grindy bits need a little more thought put into them for this reason. Not everyone is going to agree, and no everyone has time to grind for a long time. I went around for an hour yesterday and only found one palium node. That's very frustrating, as I only have an hour or so a day to play.

Palium spawns in set locations. If there's no palium there, you clear any stone or iron that's there and the palium will spawn; you just have to be patient. No point in calling out something that's predictable like that. Flow trees on the other hand aren't predictable. The little ones you can chop by yourself, but the big ones, you do need help. SO there's some point to calling out if there's no-one else around when you find them. But I don't bother calling out palium, and if people can't be bothered to clear the stone/iron from a palium spawn point then frankly do they really deserve the palium?
