The only time I've found it really useful so far is currently I'm working with an art contest and it's perfect for keeping the talk/critique about the submissions organized on those art pieces and not cluttering the channel with discussion. There is a 5hr cool down on the channel, but no cool down on the thread. This allows discussion on that one piece to continue

Yeah. It's not gonna be a free-for-all, for sure.
And it's gonna be based on activity in the Discord, TRUST, potentially an agreement, etc.

The reason is because this is the official Discord. Can't have some random person streaming pron, non-skate. franchise games, etc. Or being abusive, vile, etc. So... it's something I'm thinking really deeply on how to have people apply, an agreement of sorts, etc.

Tbh I think the role is a safer bet than rank as anyone can get rank by being active. And to make sure there's no trolls the splitgate discord for example has requirements to get the roles. For example the stream role you need at least 5 hours of the game streamed or for content creator role you need a video etc

So now I just fool around for fun.

There is only one competitive area of the game that I would consider but it's still a pretty niche community of comp players. The game has so many different ways of approaching though I'm not sure what would be better. I don't think Skate is really known for one playstyle and one playstyle only
