glitching, in this situation, refers to using glitches to alter your appearance. if you want to do a dark catch handplant but it can clearly show what your regular character is wearing, etc, that’s not out of bounds.

Most times, it works like this (for other titles I’ve beta tested on console, not saying it will be exactly the same for skate., and I use the term EA account, but it would help the same for Ubisoft, 2K, etc)
You get invited.
A code - linked to your account- is sent that you redeem to get the download from the store.
That gets the game. But access - that’s linked to the EA account. So, you sign into the downloaded game with your Gamertag/PSNID that is linked to your EA account, it does an entitlement check to verify you should have access, then you play.
