A tier 1 land produces 26 units on its single fuel source supported by 4 power stations. In the rest of the plot, 150 fuel converters are placed that passively produce 1 unit every 2 days, an additional 75 per day that total 100 per day.
And you innocently say that it reduces efficiency. The size of the plot is limited and to fill the plot with converters supported by 4 energy sources, you would only put in about 10 to 150%, which would give you much less. Therefore, answering the user who asked, you can get 100 units of fuel per day.

In my opinion Bigtime is more enjoyable and better game than Illuvium at the moment, just look at the graphic and landscape in dungeons, its beautiful. Ohh and people are still making tons of money in BIGTIME. Yes they do balance regularly but there are multiple ways to make lots of profit. You can always find a way to make money in that game, even if the other way is balanced, reduced for a while. For example the token drop rate is amazing for weeks and then they reduce but you can farm schematics, craft them and sell on marketplace for a good profit. Also you can earn money with ‘cracked hourglass’ airdrop in your lands (space). You can craft ‘hourglass’ nft-s and sell them on the marketplace for 2-3-4x profit when the token drop is good again. Also you can always rent your nft-s for a good money to other players. Their economy is amazing and I see huge opportunity there in this bullrun. I hope Illuvium will come up with something similar

few things:

• big time gameplay is more acceptable. its a dungeon crawler with active combat, while ILV is an auto battler.
• both games economy is crafting
• graphic and control. ILV is the clear winner.
• profitable. Big time was a huge success, looks like in a downturn rn. ILV offer much higher rewards (200K token) over 6 months. imo big time is cooked, and web3 should rotate to ILV for the airdrop.
• longevity. ILV need active combat in OW to compete with big time. imo current arena is just too niche

Well, guess what will happen as soon as a wider audience and not just the sweet community members are in her - it might be much more messy.

In the end, they sold us hot air two years ago (in regards to the promises), and till now, we‘re empty-handed; as long as they keep their promise this time that we will launch with OB together, I do not mind having silence in her.

I‘m mainly referring to the land sale back then - where everybody (in reality, nobody knew it) promised us lots of great things coming shortly, and so on - it has been chewed through often enough by now.

But you shouldn’t play the victim (team) when they know what went wrong and what caused all this mess by making new timelines and announcements that couldn’t be held anyway, and they should have known that much better instead of hyping everyone up kind of four times over the last two years (since land sale).

And if you cannot handle it well, get an intermediary in-between - who does message control so the team can truly focus on getting things done, and if you don’t want that, then you have to live with the consequences-> pressure that comes with it.

As simple as that!

Just for the record, in the „real world“ (not crypto), when you‘re Chief of Tech or Chief of Stuff, you must handle the pressure and manage the balance instead of putting your head into the sand and waiting till the storm is over (mess behind).

Lots of (little) things are off in these calculations but if we compare fuel production with revdis from in-game sales only, you may be better off with land rn. 25 ILV or a single T2 land, you'd expect land to be valued at 0.7 eth by now 😉

ILZ doesn't have a whole lot going for it in the short term it seems with low fuel production and 19 to 1 fuel inflation in the market. Total market decline is around 31% in terms of USD. Noteworthy that it wouldn't take much to move the floor & total market cap, maybe one or two big whales scooping up the cheap properties, maybe $1 MM invested would probably flip this decline to show an overall market appreciation.

I believe this is correct. If you want to use your own generated fuel you essentially need to sell it to yourself through the fuel exchange.
If you sold 50 Crypton from your land it would take a buy order of 1k Crypton to sell.
So I'd imagine if you wanted 50 Crypton to use in the OW you'd have to sell 1k Crypton from your land to yourself. Other wise you could send 1 to 1, then sell it to another player on the secondary and bypass revdis.

This is not quite right, or at least it doesn't get to the nuance. I'll give you guys a bit of a lore leak:

The fuel you extract is raw. It needs to be combined to be usable. When you sell it, what happens behind the scenes is that your fuel mixes with Substance from player's travels. The ratio is 19:1, meaning that the final sellable fuel is 20x as large.

So if you extract 1 Crypton and go to sell it, in ILV:Z you will see this as a sale of 1 Crypton. On the Fuel Exchange, this will be seen as a sell order of 20 Crypton (usable) at the price that you specified. If you wanted to sell your 1 Crypto for 1 ETH, then there will be a sale on the FE for 20 Cryptons worth 20 ETH.

When this sale is filled, you will receive your 1ETH, and the DAO will receive 19 ETH. This has always been the functionality.

If you want to use your fuel in game, then you still need to effectively sell it and buy it back, after it's useable, but this is automatic.

So you would transfer 1 Crypton. In the background a sale would be generated at market price for 20 usable Cryptons. Then when it is filled, you would receive your part of that order, and then that would be converted to Fuel at the market price, and you would get it in game. I had a cool idea to let that last part be open to micro fluctuations (meaning that the fuel you get in game would be slightly more or slightly less than 1 Crypton) but that was shot down as 'not cool', so I think we will go with giving you the exact amount.

FYI there are no other 'sales' in game that the DAO does. We just burn their fuel and let them do their thing or mint their stuff. We don't sell them anything else. Hence. 'in game sales' are the sale of fuel. That's the mechanism. And land holders get 5% of the total. But when they sell 1 fuel, they get 1 fuel worth of monies. When they transfer 1 fuel, they get 1 fuel in their account.

Okay so to recap. I keep 1 ETH crypton, that is 1 ETH crypton I can use in Overworld. If I sell 1 ETH crypton, it is 19ETH sold and 1 ETH I keep. Is this accurate?

For example I play #🎮〕illuvium-zero on my phone for a week and Sunday morning I’m ready to get on my computer and do an overworld run so I transfer my fuel from #🎮〕illuvium-zero to my overworld account. I have 5000 fuel tokens to transfer.

When I do this transaction the 5000 get minted and transferred to my game wallet. At the same time 19x5000= 95,000 gets minted and listed for sale by the DAO at the current market price.

This is exactly where people get confused. There is a difference between how much of the revenue the land holders make vs how much fuel of theirs they keep. They keep all their fuel. Otherwise you would only ever use it ON your land plot at the start, since you would keep all of it. But you always keep all of it.

Mine picks a plot to check, and looks at the 5x5 grid it is the centre of. Then it iterates through with a 3x3 or 2x2 square and does a comparator to the owner. Like yours, it iterates 4 times then 9 times.

Not having megacities is a huge letdown - it smells like something someone said "hey this would be a great idea" before checking to see how it would work and be implemented; honestly, this is, to me, a pretty big strike against the team's credibility and also an indication of how things get done (or don't get done). 2. It would be so good if you can use your own resources from your land in Overworld. 3. AFAIK megacities are still being worked, haven't heard anything saying they're out. As for game polish, it's a 2D city builder so really only so much you can do. I know the team has pretty high standards as seen in Overworld/Arena, but with Zero I don't think you get much better looking than maybe a Starcraft 2.

Honestly the game felt pretty close to done the last I played which was months ago. A couple buildings weren't finished, mainly around fuel transfer/selling, and megacities. Zero really felt pretty complete though. When you compare it to Overworld/Arena there is a lot more going on there.

If you spend a little time really exploring Overworld, like climbing up peaks or down tunnels, you can appreciate how massive it is.

I have stopped playing Illuvium Zero. The game discriminates Overword/Arena players from IZ players. For Arena and Overworld players there is little information but it is information. IZ players have been excluded from the airdrop, they have no information, there is none because they are excluded. For Illuvium, the IZ landowners are a nuisance, they will not be able to make a profit or they will play by paying a high premium.
