There is never a guarantee you get what you pay for. For example, let's say you want an Atlas one but whatever you pay, you don't get. You just get percentage. So you keep on paying and minting to get what you want. That's if you don't wanna buy it from someone who has already got an Atlas. Skins always play a big role in every game.

I used proton in steam on Linux mint and the game starts using direct x 11.

I don’t think that’s accurate. Blueprints are the only nfts to be found on land anyways. Not the illuvial nfts themselves.
