It all depends on which tier you're aiming for and how many plots you're trying to purchase. But, that should get you something assuming the land doesn't all sell out immediately. Keep in mind it's a Dutch auction process... so the prices start high and rapidly become lower as time goes on.

I recommend taking a look at the pinned spreadsheet in #🎮〕illuvium-zero for a general idea of pricing over time (at least at current token prices)

Right now the price of 1 Silv2 in uniswap I believe is 185$ and during land sale and after anything that you are able to buy with it in game your Silv2 will be able to be used with the buying power of ILV which is right now around 515$ so essentially you are getting a discount by using Silv2

I’ve got a different opinion than sheep on this just FYI. I do not think you’ll be able to reliably get any land with just 1 ETH. No one knows for sure but I just don’t want you to assume you’re good and then be disappointed. Make sure to determine your own willing price point that you will pay and stick with that though!

My understanding is that Class is going to dictate the Hyper bonuses an Illuvial gets, while Affinity dictates whether or not you get hyper (and how fast you get it). Aaron and Ben were talking about it in voice chat earlier. So I don't think Class will end up being the same RPS setup that affinities follow.

(This was discussed as something that is under development, not for the current state of the game)

There will definitely be some need for balancing over time to keep things fair. Hopefully with the counter based nature of the game most things will just be balanced out by selecting good comps. At the end of the day making the game balanced and fun to play has to be the priority.
And the NFT wont 'change' because the nft only represents that you own that Illuvial. It doesnt include exactly how it functions in the game.
