Because there's two different "ranked" arenas

The Leviathan Arena (in that arena, yes you can pay to get the absolute best stats, highest stage and tier, and have an advantage)

But the ("Illuvium: Arena") is balanced where if you own a stage 1, you get access to the entire line (stage 1 to stage 3) to build you deck. And stat differences also don't count.

Please make sure you dont confuse stage and Tier :) Tier is the rank of an illuvial, tier 1 is weak and common, Tier 5 is strong and rare.
Stage is the evolution form of an illuvial. Atlas is stage one, and Axodon Stage 3.
When you battle in ranked, any of the three stages will be accessable if you have one illuvial of that line in your deck. so 1 Atlas in ranked would allow you to place 1 Axodon even if you dont own axodon yourself. (Sorry your explanation was spot on for the remaining part)

To me it doesn’t make sense that there is no limit on SLP staking and the return is high, what is the SLP being used for that guarantees a return? There are 3M tokens allocated for yield farming rewards. 80% of those are allocated to the SLP. The profit people see from SLP staking is the ILV or sILV tokens they claim rewards as. The reason the yield is high in this pool is because the tokenomics were designed to incentivize liquidity providers. Liquidity is important when building a DeFi protocol.

There is no bot or manual stake SLP server, and I'm not sure what you're referring to here.

Rewards claimed as ILV tokens take 12 months to vest, and it hasn't yet been 12 months since staking started, so no one has actually withdrawn their ILV yield yet (as those tokens are all still locked). However, lots of people have claimed rewards as sILV2, and sold those rewards through the Uniswap ETH/sILV2 LP. You can go verify that on Etherscan for yourself.

Illuvium staking isn't related to validating transactions at all. It's just locking up your tokens in exchange for yield and revenue distribution.
