Yeah if you claim ILV it is automatically reinvested into the ILV pool for 12 months at 2.0 weight (so you compound your ILV holdings, more rewards, more RevDis).

If you claim sILV2 it's accessible immediately, to use in game or for land etc.

Personally I only claim ILV so far, because I want maximum revenue when the game comes out (and from Land sale, Illuvitars, etc.)

You can do what you want with an ERC-20 token just like the unofficial sILV2 pool. I see no reason why you can't put it in your wallet, it's just a token like any other

Hey there— if you staked your ILV with a lock period in v1, then you just need to process the upgrade transaction. The deposit that was staked can stay on v1 and you’ll continue to earn rewards at the higher token weight you have from when you first staked.

If you staked in v1 flexibly without a lock period, you will need to process the upgrade transaction but ALSO withdraw and restake in v2

So how these things work is through a snapshot mechanism. A list of all eligible members that are in both discords is taken at the time indicated. Questions:
1.) What is Staking v2? What is the difference?
2.) Will the current ILV be unlocked and can be claimed once the v2 started?
3.) When v2 starts and I still don't claim my staked ILV/ETH, will the staking continue automatically?

1. Staking V2 is the new contracts the team developed to improve gas efficiency, security and a few other parts of the staking architecture.

ILV: it is a governance /staking token You can't buy anything with ILV

**Fuel ** will be the main currency when the game starts . You buy Fuel with ETH only

sILV-2 is the token you can use as an Alternative to fuel it can be used for any non Fuel ( you cant buy fuel with it) non player ( you cant buy anything off another player with it) in game fees , or equipment costs.

sILV-2 will always = <market price> ILV

As well as Official events the admins deem it eligible ( like #🎮〕illuvium-zero Land sale or Illuvitar sale )

ETH : - is only used when you want to buy fuel and any other player related off the illuviDex (not yet released)
