Im assuming the that there are different types of curve degradation depending on the rarity. Its a really really really good mechanic and I can see how this can infuriate people whenever their shards fail in capturing a speficic illuvial.

He got sent a website link on Discord that was illuvium.io but the o was accented like in europe or some shit, that's what he told us.

Frequently you end up on a website that look like the real one, but it isnt. So you pay or link your wallet and lose everything. But it can take multiple forms. It might be some friendly person offering you an opportunity in DM

Most of the time they've literally just installed Metamask and they have zero sophistication with it.
