In game, it can be used to pay for any fee (excluding IlluviDEX trades and Leviathan Arena wagers) that otherwise would be paid for with the main currency ETH. The value of sILV in the game - and for possible sales where sILV is allowed - will be equal to the value of ILV.

While claimed staking rewards in the form of ILV are locked for 12 months, sILV offers the opportunity to liquidate your staking rewards immediately. The tradeoff for that is that sILV only can be used in-game and does not provide compounding in any form.

1050ti is the gpu being mentioned a lot which is basically mid tier so thats a good sign. Most PC gamers should have similar to more powerful gpus. My PC is more than 3 years old and thankfully its a 1080ti so no need for me to get a new gpu (though I might want to hehehe).

Mobile will come latter part of 2022 for the main game while I:Zero is released on mobile by early 2022. So thats great news.
Sponsorships were originally a no go but it seems theres a possibility that something is being cooked up to address this. It might be in the mini game though.

Over world will only account for 10% of the game at open beta launch. I'm not expecting super complex gameplay, but something that feels like instanced farming. Sure this has scope to change, but I think it comes down to the fact that people are spending money to travel/capture etc. Kieran has said it multiple times. Imagine getting a pack of Pokémon cards and only getting to see and keep the first 2 of the 10 - would you ever buy another pack? Probably not...

Well I have heard from the team many times that they are prioritising gameplay being fun. Keiran said in the interview today that the earning aspect should be the cherry on top not the focus of the project, my ideas were more speaking to the gameplay side of things here as I love the sentiment the team are pushing - make the game fun and enticing for gamers with the loop and the money will follow, seems most beneficial for the longevity of the project as well.

There is no set date for the first land sale. The land sale will be announced in📣│announcements when the date has been confirmed. Illuvium: Zero is a mobile mini-game that will interact with the main game. Illuvium: Zero will be a base building game which will be staged on a piece of land. Paid land will produce Fuel ERC20 tokens and Blueprints which can interact with the main game. There will be 100k plots of paid land in total, and the first land sale will offer 20k of these plots for sale in a dutch auction format. There are 3M total rewards for YF, so the cap is 3M. However, some of those rewards are already claimed as ILV.

So 3M - ILV claimed = sILV potential cap.

ILV isn't burned when sILV is minted, you get EITHER sILV or ILV from rewards.

to add to what @dusty plank said, sILV doesn't burn ILV. It's a misconception. sILV is utilized ILV, coded to be used in game or in other parts of ILV ecosystem except market and Leviathan arena. So when you claim sILV, you are actuality claiming another form of ILV which reduces the total supply of ILV.

Rewards from staking have to be manually claimed and GAS fees for those transactions have to be paid:

• When you stake ILV yield farming rewards start piling up for you
• You claim those rewards whenever you deem the pile to be big enough to justify gas fees
• If you claim sILV you have it unlocked right away (sILV is only usable in game as a substitute currency for ETH outside the marketplace and the Leviathan Arena)
• If you claim ILV then that batch of ILV gets locked for 12 months and automatically staked in the ILV pool with a token weight of 2.0 for compounding effect
• New rewards start piling up....rinse and repeat

NB: ILV paid out as part of Illuvium’s Revenue Distribution have to be claimed as well but are not subject to a locking period.

I believe you're fine but good to be cautious. If you've staked, I'm pretty sure it's tied to that wallet until it unlocks, I bought a hardware wallet (Trezor) and use that through MetaMask to be on the safe side. You can see the etherscan stuff if you click the three dots (upper left) in MetaMask and click "View account on Etherscan"

Don't know. But it runs on immutable x. So, you will still pay fees to get your ETH in, but once it's in you can trade with other players without any fees.

A quick message to explain us the land sale delay for example could be a good move....
