BUT, while the game will be free to play, in order to participate in the earning part of the economy, a bit of money needs to be invested. A full cycle of travelling, curing shards, etc. is currently estimated to be around $50 (this can still change).

In game, it can be used to pay for any fee (excluding IlluviDEX trades and Leviathan Arena wagers) that otherwise would be paid for with the main currency ETH. The value of sILV in the game - and for possible sales where sILV is allowed - will be equal to the value of ILV.

While claimed staking rewards in the form of ILV are locked for 12 months, sILV offers the opportunity to liquidate your staking rewards immediately. The tradeoff for that is that sILV only can be used in-game and does not provide compounding in any form.

What I'm confused about is, isn't there supposed to be discussion about proposals prior to them being submitted? I agree that streamlining a channel for IIP is the right move but it displaced a legitimate channel for the community to discuss all things DAO related. Feedback is not the proper channel for that imo as it is too general and the history of would be mixed with feedback on the game or other aspects. Asking for updates on the plans of the council that was discussed does not fall under feedback nor was my question on what has happened to the 2 non-participating council members. These are all specific topics and important ones at that which I believe merit its own channel to differentiate it from the rest of the topics in discussions.

When holding ILV, staking is a way to gain additional rewards from yield farming and revenue distribution. The process for staking is the following:

• You acquire either some ILV or some Sushi LP tokens
• You go to: https://staking.illuvium.io/staking/core
• You enter the right pool according to the tokens you acquired
• You decide whether to lock your deposit or not (if locked, you will receive more rewards from yield farming and revenue distribution, but you cannot withdraw your deposit until the chosen locking period is over)
• After approving the contract (if this is your first interaction with it) you confirm the staking of the desired tokens

It depends entirely on how much revenue comes in. Revenue will be split by total count of tokens in each pool and then distributed based on token weight in the pool.

• You acquire a 50/50 ratio of both ILV and ETH (in $)

• After approving the contract (if this is your first interaction with it), you stake your 50/50 ratio of ETH and ILV in the pool
• You receive SLP tokens (To see them, add the SLP contract address to your wallet: 0x6a091a3406e0073c3cd6340122143009adac0eda)
• You go to: https://staking.illuvium.io/staking/core
• You can now stake your SLP Tokens in the Sushi LP pool just like ILV is staked in the ILV pool.

Each illuvial will have a stage of evolution and a set of Individual Values.

If we meet in the Leviathan Arena, and I have a stage 1 Ramphy while you have a stage 3 Ramphyre, you will have the advantage. If we both have a stage 1 Ramphy and mine has higher IVs than yours, I have the advantage.
In the Leviathan Arena, you are what you are, and I am what I am, and we can wager Eth on our battle. Only the strongest survive.

If we meet in the Ranked Arena, we could both use any of the 3 stages in the Ramphyre line, and the IVs would not be included in the power of the creature. This is because the Ranked Arena is “normalized” so that your logic and strategy, your skill as a player, is the dominant factor in determining the winner. This means that Pay To Win players that have bought the best of the best, won’t have the advantage of more powerful creatures. This gives everyone a fair chance to win, be it a grinding free player or a whale.

In game, it can be used to pay for any fee (excluding IlluviDEX trades and Leviathan Arena wagers) that otherwise would be paid for with the main currency ETH. The value of sILV in the game - and for possible sales where sILV is allowed - will be equal to the value of ILV.

While claimed staking rewards in the form of ILV are locked for 12 months, sILV offers the opportunity to liquidate your staking rewards immediately. The tradeoff for that is that sILV only can be used in-game and does not provide compounding in any form.

Check out the white paper on the website. If I recall correctly it reduces 3% of current APY every 2 weeks (or could be monthly) from July 2021-July 2024.

Guilds yes. Co-op not at launch of open beta. From my understanding at 'open beta' launch the game will only be single player within 'the loop'. I don't remember a time where there has been confirmation around people coming across one another in central zones (but I have assumed that you might be able to see others) - definitely could be wrong though.

Answer to your second comment, they do change it almost daily - this one is from #🚰〕leaks I think, saw it recently.

If I stake ILV today and choose the lock 12 months option.
When I claim my ILV at 12 months are they then vested for another 12 months meaning I can't sell them for another 12 months so that's 24 months total? Thank you in advanced.

Illuvium: Zero is a mobile mini-game that will interact with the main game. Illuvium: Zero will be a base building game which will be staged on a piece of land. Paid land will produce Fuel ERC20 tokens and Blueprints which can interact with the main game. There will be 100k plots of paid land in total, and the first land sale will offer 20k of these plots for sale in a dutch auction format.
