Hey Sabrina! Crypto.com has their own wallet, if I'm not mistaken... however I'm not certain if it can be connected to the Illuvium staking site. You could attempt to connect through the "Wallet Connect" option (or perhaps someone else here has tried and can confirm?). If that doesn't work, you can definitely send your ILV from Crypto.com to a compatible wallet like MetaMask and then stake through the Illuvium site.

Any ILV rewards you claim will automatically get vested/locked in the ILV staking pool for 12 months though, so you will need to wait 12 months to withdraw them.

that's the best thing to do, spend a couple of days watching some YouTube channels on ilv. there's about 4/5 guys/girls that are creating content each week at the moment, there really informative and I use them now to keep up to date on ILV. the more we boost there numbers the more ILV will be seen and higher in the algorithms and the more ILV investors/gamers we will get.

Serious answer: Get familiar with the game and systems, you can put a fair bit together from character leaks etc. You can try and get fiscally prepared as well. Some people like to buy sILV for the land sale/Illuvatar sale or just to play the game with when it launches, but stockpiling ETH isn't a bad idea either. And of course you can buy and stake ILV 😄

Well, sILV is pegged to the price of ILV for in-game spending and for the land sale, but it is selling for something like $380-$400 on secondary markets right now. So there's a clear "bang for your buck" advantage to using sILV.

And just to be super clear, you can use ETH OR sILV for a single transaction, you cannot mix ETH + sILV for a purchase of a single plot of land.

Aside from that, there's no distinction or benefit whether you use sILV or ETH.

but I did have an issue when I was trying to stake a second SLP pool amount. I guess it was trying to unstake both rewards as well as starting the new SLP stake. I probably needed $600 in ETH. Only had $300ish. So it succeeded in claiming rewards, and failed to stake new. I couldn't figure it out. Repeated again. Lost gas twice. then I had to go sell my DOT to get more gas money and try again. Probably lost $400, but now I know to keep a ridiculous amount of eth for gas.

Im not a mod but let me see if I can help you understand whats going on.

When you claim rewards from the SLP pool those ILV rewards are staked into the ILV pool. Because of the way the staking contract operates, in order to stake ILV you must claim any pending rewards before more tokens can be staked. This results in two transactions for your SLP rewards. One transaction to claim and stake rewards from the ILV pool and one transaction to claim and stake from the SLP pool.

I can totally relate to the frustration of wasting one or two gas fees on ILV rewards that are not really worth claiming. The good news is that as your ILV stake grows from your SLP rewards it will eventually be worth the gas to claim it.

If you are worried about making your claims as efficient as possible for the gas fees there is a google doc pinned in the staking channel that can help you estimate the optimal claim frequency.

Also your SLP stake retains its weight even after the locking period is up. So you arent getting ILV rewards based on the flexible rate, you are getting the rewards of whatever weight you staked it at and should continue to do so until you withdraw from the staking contract.

The easiest advice ive heard is to claim when the gas fee is between .5% -5 % of your initial stake. This will vary depending on the size of your stake and obviously its different for everyone. Personally I shoot to spend less than 1% of my rewards in gas for the claim transaction.

It's likely you can grind to sell levelled up T0 Illuvials for some amount of profit early on, while assets are scarce, and while people are looking to fuse up T0's to stage 3 to progress. This is unlikely to be profitable in the long term though. Also, since bots take time to develop, we can hopefully not see much if ANY botting. I know Aaron is passionate about limiting botting as well.

The tokenomics of this DAO include a 100% revenue distribution (could be subject to change - DAO governance). This means that any kind of revenue generated through sales or in-game revenue is distributed back to holders of staked ILV. The same max supply of 10 Million ILV will be used for this purpose regardless of how many games the DAO develops.

Revenue distribution is paid out in the form of unlocked ILV and the payout is done multiple times a week without a fixed schedule. Before paying out revenue distribution, the vault converts ETH spent in-game into ILV by buying it off the market which puts buying pressure on the ILV token and thus supports its price development.
