That's actually an interesting question... I'm not entirely sure. It's been mentioned that when fusing 3 holos, you get a dark holo. Also I believe when you have 2 normal Illuvials and 1 holo, you have a ~66.66666% chance to still get a normal out fusing them. So I take it any time you have 3 normal Illuvials, there's the likely no chance for a holo?

Going into a battle, you have 30 "slots" which would include your Illuvials as well as any enhancements you'd want to use during the fight.
As for your general inventory outside of the battle, I'm not sure if there's a limit! I could see Moz4rt having a finite amount of space and us needing to upgrade it somehow.... more info likely to come later!

The specifics of that are unknown, as far I know. It is mentioned in the whitepaper that the three Illuvials you want to fuse need to reach their "threshold level" before you can fuse them. As far as additional items.... not sure as of right now!

As for placing the Illuvials on the board itself, that will depend on the Illuvials you want to use and their size 😛 They cannot overlap when you place them on the board.

So you may have a Rhamphy (Stage 1).
You'll fuse 3 Rhamphy to get a Rhamphite (Stage 2).

That entire line is a Tier 5 so each one of these Illuvials is considered T5

BUT, while the game will be free to play, in order to participate in the earning part of the economy, a bit of money needs to be invested. A full cycle of travelling, curing shards, etc. is currently estimated to be around $50 (this can still change).

When you travel to a region you have a certain amount of energy. That energy can be used for a variety of actions including scanning, gathering, battle etc. In theory you can even capture more than one Illuvial per travel but using your energy wisely and thus optimizing your spoils per travel will make a huge difference between good and less good players.

Where playing tons of hours a day is super rewarding because whales may not want to spend 100 hours grinding. Not to mention, other normal players will be buying things from others because of free market economy interactions along with the inability to farm everything in the game efficiently. It's way more efficient to buy certain things because there's an energy system in the game right? So you have to choose what you spend your energy on. All cogs in a huge economy, versus (axie) for instance, absolutely needing more and more and more new players to come in and buy the axies to form tiny teams to start earning.

These are all subject to speculation. APY changes. And earnings would be determined by what you choose to do.

In Illuvium there will be several options to earn:

• sell captured Illuvials
• sell farmed materials
• sell crafted items
• play the marketplace (buy low, sell high)
• wager on battles in the Leviathan Arena
• earn some of the 1 Million ILV set aside for in-game rewards
• …

BUT, while the game will be free to play, in order to participate in the earning part of the economy, a bit of money needs to be invested. A full cycle of travelling, curing shards, etc. is currently estimated to be around $50 (this can still change).

Early on you MIGHT even be able to get to the paid regions just by grinding the free Tier 0 regions and selling items from there because some people will pay for it on the IlluviDex to get ahead.

RE: Staking - depends how much you stake. At 70% APY, you get 7 ILV per 10 ILV staked in a year. You can do the math for daily returns for yourself.

We can't play yet because the game isn't out, so it's really hard to say how much earning potential there is!

You're correct that you don't stand to go 1000x in under a year like seed investors did, but that circumstance wasn't available to 99.999% of people in this chat. If you're playing with the capital to be a seed investor, you're on a different level than most of us 😄
