Definitely things are being worked on. There are game modes and systems being developed that will be far more appealing to the masses than what is currently playable. This is why there is not a significant marketing push now. What’s playable now is a pretty heavy autobattler.

The game is currently going through big balancing changes and in-game fuel economy changes.

All the changes are available to try on testnet.

There are still things needed to polish the game and bring it to the masses regarding UI, little details & things. And the devs are working most to get Arena ready. They have set up multiplayer servers. Assets have been converted to prepare for mobile.

So there is still work to be done... but they will be releasing the big changes on Main Net relatively soon so everyone can play. And they will begin a reward system for not having skill issues.

They are currentley building out the Overworld MMO lite and polishing up the Gauntlet mode to make it more Mainstream.

Perhaps Breach is where the player captures Illuvials and levels up their Ranger

Perhaps Arena is where the player levels up their Illuvials etc…

Versus trying to deliver a complete fully featured MMO within a reasonable time frame?

The MMO-Lite needs to stand on its own. Forcing a player to participate in an autobattler to be able to play the MMO-Lite properly shouldn't happen.

But for Breach I agree that Illuvial capturing needs to be adjacent but not inside the MMO-Lite in a way that makes sense (and is fun)

As more games are developed, there can be other avenues to achieve X outcome.

Eventually there may be multiple avenues for the player to level Illuvials.

The MMO lite will be multiple years of development, and the vast majority fail.

Howdy! I'm a huge fan of elements of progression being shared across different titles in the ecosystem. I actually built a similar system for a project I worked on in the past.

The main complication is that you can't build it in such a way that folks feel obligated to play your other titles in order to enjoy the game they want to play. Telling a player "if you want to be really good at this game, you have to go play our other game" is going to be a hard pass for a lot of folks, and likely drastically reduce the potential user base.

Instead, I personally prefer using the shared progression as a bonus, rather than a requirement. It encourages players to stay in your ecosystem when they want to try some different gameplay, and gradually increases perceived value of purchases usable across multiple titles.

The tech as it stands looks solid, but in my experience we'll only know how we'll it'll stand up to different types of gameplay when we begin testing.

Monster hunter wilds style of gameplay does feel like It makes sense for the overworld. Limited people in regions, region events and a story intertwined via quests and progression to fight leviathans / level up as you go

Its currently on hold as the unified fuel system gets tested

It's currently being run on Testnet servers to test all the new features coming in - unified fuel, ADR's etc.
It should hopefully be back on live servers soon

It will be the new fuel system, where everythign is done through one Currency across the ecosystems. Hyperion, Solon and crypton will be unified into 1 fuel instead.

There’s theory and there’s reality… I’ve done several bundles of adr and could see 375 acquiring all… but u may need to fill a few missing spots by buying off illuvidex. Because it wouldn’t make sense to chase 5-10 missing cards by dumping money into rng.

I would suggest making sure there is no other wallet getting in the way such as Phantom etc. Disable these if so
If that doesn't work, try using a different browser

If u factor in opening a full pack it does drop, but really my calcs are in a vacuum, Overworld although rarities might be 20% better, the control of it could make the set cost way lower

Also when collecting Pokemon cards u need to buy cards off other players to complete a set, otherwise it'd cost u like 20k. So if he factored in trading/secondary market i could see the true cost coming down to $300 ish easily.

I'm mainly knocking on this Play 2 earn element that web3 game devs have implemented i to their games. It causes a design flaw where they ultimately make their game unfun because of the grindy and play to win mechanics they have to implement into the mix to make it all work.

I wish they'd figure out how to make an eco system similar to CS GO, where the game "market" revolves around cosmetics only, and relying on the games accessibility and fun to capture and retain the playerbase.
