It's hard to estimate the replayability of the first illuvials with long-term development, personally I don't think so, but they will serve as collections and perhaps a kind of "proof" to obtain certain undeclared advantages or other benefits maybe linked to lands etc...

IMO the best game in the ARPG Genre is from a New Zealand company called Grinding Gear Games (now owned by Tencent), 135 employees with a game called "Path of Exile"....
Massive lesson to be learnt here. They had 35 employees when their first Open Beta launched.
Disclaimer: Some of those 35 staff were ex Diablo so they had a head start.

Illuvium uses IMX. Which is used to mint NFTs for free. Then it can be used to withdraw those NFTs to ethereum mainnet. Pretty much whatever you want can be done after that. I assume.

I heard there are odds... so if you fuse one holo with 2 non holo the the fused illuvial has a 1 in 3 chance of being holo.
I would assume similarly... if 2 holos, one reg and one dark and one non... then 2 of 3 chance to be holo... one in three to be dark holo.
