It’s true. Was a cool project to do some research and settled on them as a worthy species

Had to fit the profle of the Illuvials I was going for in the build too though

Each illuvial will have like several stats. Health, speed, resist, omega power, damage,…
These stats are actual numbers. But the actual number fits within a spectrum of possible numbers that are defined as a percentage of BASE (base is what I’m calling it, but not necessarily what the team calls it). Say BASE omega power for a stage 1 shrimp 160. 80 would be a very low percentile. 160 would be a very high percentile (100%). When an illuvial is fused and becomes the next stage the BASE number increases. Stage 2 shrimp BASE for omega power will be more than 160. Maybe it is 220. The stage 2 illuvial will have its percentile taken at random from one of the three stage 1 illuvials that were fused together to make 1 stage 2 illuvial.

This 1/3 random stat roll happens for every single stat that an illuvial has.

Yes. That doesn't mean you can't compete. You can level up your illuvials, you also have the option to sell them and possibly make enough to buy others or pay for runs in T1 T2 and T3 to catch them.
When the game goes live, yes those with more capital can buy, yet they have to farm or get others to farm illuvials for them, the competition won't be as it is now straight away.
