Basically its ideal for giveaways IMO,
you can create different tasks like make a tweet for 100xp, stream your game for 1000 xp or any call to action that is rewarded with XP, then there is a leaderboard of people that completed most tasks and you can run like 2 week sprints in the end of which you reward top 20 people etc.

Some tasks like retweets and post likes are checked automatically as it links to twitter, most other tasks require to submit links or screenshots for manual checking.

We had decent results running it, might be worth considering as all-in-one platform for giveaways that pushes to make content on ILV

Pretty much. You will enter combat and after you defeat them, you get a chance to capture them.

You only get a limited amount of energy each time you enter a stage. Once you run out, you need to leave the stage by going to the same tower to teleport out. You have to manage your energy on how you want to spend it each run. Like if you want to focus on mining or capturing Illuvials.

I’m sure it’s mentioned constantly but where are we with plans for a proper in game tutorial ?
I’ve following for a couple of years and loved playing overworld, but personally find little incentive to play arena due to the mass of information. If done right a tutorial can become a big part of the game, a fairly in-depth tutorial led by Mozart could be super fun and build great first memories.

Can someone quickly explain something for me please. In an Arena battle what is it with these pulsing waves at the close of the battle? I can appear to be winning then all my power is drained while the opponent seems unaffected? What's going on with this?

It's basically an overtime counter that reduces the health on the board for every illuvial. Essentially to close the round off quicker rather than dragging out for too long.
