In tier 0 you get 2 or 3 T0 critters to battle. In tier 1 you get 3 or 4 and they are much stronger so you need your T0's to be well put together to win those.

You can use them if you make them. In OW you start out from scratch. A few Teir 0s, and thats it. You have to mine for components to upgrade your gear and shards to cure for catching illuvials, harvest plants for materials to make augs, mining also for upgrades to your drone. As you make the things you can start using them.

In the arena modes you have all of everything available and it's more about strategizing the right teams. That's like top tier raid level stuff. in OW its like starting a new grindy game.

im going to be honest, illuvium is an absolute sleeping fookin giant. its shocking to me that crypto twitter has not picked up on the fact that illuvium has launched THE ONLY FUN GAME WITHIN CRYPTO....AND partnered with the NUMBER ONE ESPORTS TEAM in the world...huge credit to the team for putting their heads down and building because the fundamentals of this project are an order of magnitude better than the other large cap games in the space.
