We’ve got 5 people in our entire marketing team which includes me who is also the CEO, We made that decision because we don't want to spend a large amount of money on marketing prior to PvP. Having said that we have well over a million people registered for a game pre-launch, have partnered with over 50 protocols in the space, and just ran a promotion with the world's largest gaming retailer… I don’t think calling us lazy is fair. Regarding campaigns, we have another big one coming up shortly, as soon as the tech is ready we will launch it.

The team uses discord for its dozens of internal roles. Using more roles for more community roles that don’t change anything for the actual discord structure and experience could possibly reduce the efficiency of the team. Some Discord limitations are being reached and tested by illuvium fairly often. Additionally, I don’t believe collab land works with tokens on imx network anyways.

Illuvium Zero alone has around 1K DAU. On the first day it launched we had 2.3K which is extremely high considering the number of unique holders. When the ability to generate blueprints launched, 80% of players came back on day one.

My point here is once the games have a hook, ie capturing Illuvials in Overworld and battling PvP in the Arena, the users will return.

Illuvium is a community project that should also make some of its artistic creativity available to reward its players. A blueprint is just a plan, whereas an exclusive skin is much more than just a skin. The nuance here makes all the difference.

For Illuvitars, it's rewards galore, which I can understand from a certain point of view, but it would be good to be fair in this type of decision. Especially since the initial idea was that players would simply unlock a token that they could exchange months later for the exclusive skin of their choice, giving the team time to create them. However, if the project promises to simply extract money from them, they will go elsewhere, and it will then be impossible to make money for the DAO.A gift is not a sacrifice either; let's not exaggerate.

A true player won't invest in a JPEG but in time, gradually acquiring the resources needed to progress. If you multiply all these transactions by 100 players, you'll earn much more over time than if 100 guys buy $300 JPEGs once a year.

Im sure alot of people have told you already... but just in case here is 1 more... demo is not a closed testing privaledge its a small tiny tiny sample (in the 90s about 3 levels in the demos i tried) of a finished game to give you a chance to feel it out before you buy. In regards with fuel. It is my biggest fear that fuel will potentially delay the game from being released in q4. With all the parameters not even figured out yet and just starting to be built. Plus it would have to go through 3 audits I believe (1 internal and 2 external). With v2 staking taking 3 months just to complete the audit process. End of q4 seems like a stretch. By the way, I don't know if anyone here heard about Veve, but they made their NFT sales experience pretty seemless.. People don't even realise that they are using crypto in the background...
Are there any plans to make the ILV game like that as wel. That it doesn't seem like a hassle to jump in, but there's a seemless transition from just playing the game to engaging with blockchain...

Like for example using paypal to buy resources or Illuvials, that are then placed in an in-game wallet. And you don't need a wallet untill you want to extract your assets or something..

This way it would be easier to get players to actually play...

IB is basically a Sticker album, and you can use 1 sticker as profile pic.
(Some would say it's the Illuvium way of selling ingame cosmetics for OW+Arena)
