You're logging into this piece of land at least twice a day, the features, the environment, many nice ones to choose from. But if you find a couple at the same price with similar stats, look into what its going to look like when you are playing everyday.

Illuvials should be pretty cheap if that’s all you want to do. There may also be free decks.

Also you can resell your illuvials, and with sets being retired they will likely generally trend up in price albeit slowly.

If you want to do runs in the Overworld tier 0 runs are free. But you can only get tier 0 illuvials, so it likely won’t make you much. Tier 1 - 3 are paid yes. If you’re highly optimized you may be able to make something while having fun with it.

lluvium is doing something truly novel in their execution of NFT Blueprints. For those who don’t know Blueprints are essentially rare NFT recipe cards for Illuvial skinned items like weapons or armor. Illuvium landowners have the ability to scan their land for Illuvial Biodata and then research that Illuvial in the hopes of finding a Blueprint. Once they are equipped with the Blueprint the owners can choose to either sell that NFT Blueprint to others on the IlluviDex or craft the item, that they have a Blueprint for, into a usable NFT Item which then can be used or sold on the Illuvidex. Blueprints are the NFTs that just keeps giving, and by letting the users control the market for skinned items Illuvium is truly giving the power to the people.

Just don't waste all your speed-ups on short cooldowns at the start and you will be fine. Ultimately it isn't a race and you will still have plenty of time to get the blueprints even if you don't play 100% optimally.

yeah they may be good for that. illuvium also has land that just went live to play on and collect blue prints in season one. first in game assets you can keep.
but illuvium works of a fair launch so when they go live all 3 games get reset and everyone starts with nothing.
This release is scheduled for late this year

Don't worry about that. They cant sell nothing b4 they show the market that the land investment is worth the money. Nobody will pay for that, and i don't think they will risk their years-long creation going to nothing. yes, the first priority is the game itself, but the financial factors are also important; otherwise why they dont release the game in the traditional way. managing assets and make it profitable is one of the fun of the game.

How long is the alpha testing for Illuvium: Zero expected to last?

Illuvium: Zero's alpha testing is divided into two seasons, and Season 0 has already come to a close. At the end of this season, all data, including blueprints, were wiped and reset. The main purpose of Season 0 was for the development team to address bugs and balance issues, while also ensuring a clean slate before transitioning to Season 1.

Currently, we're in the midst of Season 1, which began on May 25th, 2023. Season 1 will continue until we reach the open beta stage. At the end of this season, there will be another data reset. However, here's some exciting news for you: during the last few months of Season 1, players will have the opportunity to mint the blueprints they've researched as NFTs (Non-Fungible Tokens). These minted NFTs will persist beyond the alpha reset, and you'll be able to use them to craft skins in the Illuvium: Overworld once we reach the Open Beta phase.

As we approach the open beta stage, we'll provide more detailed information about the minting window.

releasing a sticker album like panini football albums if football didnt exist or was limited to a few people who could try it out sounds mad to me. and again: the only reason I collected pokemon/yugioh stickers is cuz I enjoyed watching it on tv and playing yu gi oh cards.
basically characters need to capture your imagination in-game or in-film before you wanna collect the stickers. the sales reflect that.

That sounds reasonable. There is a chance I underestimate how connected people feel to the game, given people watch illuviums development every day via leaks here. people didnt have that connection with the pokemon/yugioh before they were released because social media wasnt a thing back then.
Nonetheless, from my own subjective point of view, it shouldnt have been released unless people get hooked on the game itself, and the sales numbers give merit to that.

But from my understanding, the project runway was getting to a point where the money was in risk of runing out before the official release date of the game.

So they made a vote if they should take in more investors or sell Illuvitars. And selling Illuvitars won the poll. So I feel like this is a pretty good way to raise money for the project

Let me ask you guys a question about the blueprints being minted .
Being able to ment your blueprints if you own land sounds kinda of cool when you first here about it. But on the other hand wouldn't everyone who owes land can make blueprints and will be doing so WHO wouldn't because you would be early to the selling or hoarding for your own personal benefit. I really dont think this is a good idea being a World of Warcraft player I really loved the economics of the game and made some killer gold for my own benefit in a early expansion . Now it would start to slow down and level off in about 4 weeks . My point is the people who got out there and busted there butt made a lot gold early. I believe the early blueprints being mented will flood the market and the result would catastrophic to the price of blueprints owning blueprints before the Overworld game is released to the public is going to flood the market and i just dont think this is a good idea to people who bought land only for blueprints AKA tier 1 and not for fuel . Idk if im correct or not what do yall think? 🤔
