think team want to make every fuel equal in value, so hopefully they can adjust some numbers, but for now i would say its crypton, cuz you always have to use it to enter the region and some of your runs dont require you to use shards (hyperion usage) cuz you going for a mining run etc

but we also have converters so there should be a minimum difference with output of fuel if you use them (but again, too early to be sure 100% )

they were hyped pre-game, and as soon as the actual gameplay released they flopped historically, you can still check out reviews at the time. but idc about them, im saying a simple statement: some games flop when released, some are great, and some are meh. u can find 1000s of examples for each group. given the amount of illuvium gameplay i see(or dont see) online, it certainly doesnt seem like people are hooked. im saying the token exists for almost 2 years now. if you dont see a problem that's perfectly acceptable, im just saying the amount of play footage online is really really low imo. like no one is really playing

Some games are less streamable than others. I expect PvP in Arena be to extremely streamable, while watching someone play against set waves in Survival Mode is less streamable. Overworld had quite a few streams after it came out, but it's a fairly grindy game, and given that it will (at some point) reset, it's not super motivating to continue playing it beyond a certain point. People wouldn't go super hard in other games with long progression curves either if they knew it would reset in the near future.

Currently, Illuvium's addictive gameplay is focused on two main components - PvP in Illuvium: Arena and collecting NFTs in Illuvium: Overworld. However, PvP does not yet exist in Arena, and collecting NFTs is not yet possible, additionally progress is wiped in the next beta.

Illuvium: Zero, while not necessarily a streamable genre, has still managed to attract a sizable weekly player base.

There has been a significant reduction in interest in the gaming space as a whole, and there are no comparable games to mainstream available to play yet.

Once we connect the games up to the blockchain and players can collect NFTs, compete against friends, and generate fuel that feeds the other games, we'll be the most popular game on the blockchain and will have a chance at competing with our rival mainstream games.

I can sit quitely and play a game all day without screaming at my computer, throwing my hands up in the air, or jumping around my room but im 100% still enjoying my time playing.

I have to say, out of every “game” in this space. We have the most content created about us every single week with the most diverse amount of creators compared to any other game. (The exception being maybe Axie which focuses on Spanish & Filo speaking communities).

There is bare content about Illuvium.

Stache too, but his Web3 videos are not performing, which I think is indicative of where the market is right now.

It's weird too, sometimes content does not = success of the game. Splinterlands is very successful for a mediocre card game, but the contest doesn't draw either.

Go to YouTube, search up Sandox, filter by week and view count. The very few videos that are there are all about the token and not the game.

im not talking about their current situation, but a few months ago. during the last alpha season they organised speedrunning competition. there were a lot of people with small/new channels making videos about strategies and glitches and stuff. there was proper excitement

And I do understand your concerns completely and some of them are valid but regarding the content side of things, after extensive research and reporting, I have to disagree and say there’s wayyy more genuine interest in Illuvium as a game compared to anything else that’s out there

oh, i should have expressed myself better: that is precisely what im talking about. im talking about illuvium (and sandbox) at their recent peaks. When I said im not sure illuvium excited people enough i was talking about that peak.
and if we go off your comments: people simply cant create in-game rn in illuvium the way they can in the sandbox.

A lot of these other games are also giving out tons of tokens to boost engagement which Illuvium isn’t doing yet. It’s pretty excited to get people excited about a game when you’re literally paying them to play it.
