There’s no earning in IZ Alpha just the ability to keep the blueprints that you scan. After those are given to you, then you could sell if you wanted, therefore earning from the alpha. You won’t be able to sell your fuel to any open market in the alpha because it is not on-chain yet.

Definitely a tough decision for many. Some things to keep in mind are that revenue distributions are earned based on your ILV total... so ILV staked in the ILV core pool or the ILV HALF of your SLP staked in the SLP pool. Estimated APR is higher on the SLP pool but at the risk of impermanent loss since you would be staking two different tokens. I recommend researching Impermanent loss if you're not familiar with it but you are considering the SLP pool 🙂

Each land would be worked individually regardless of location. The only difference would be if you had lands in a 2x2 or 3x3 as a “megacity.” But even that would just allow you to share the land resources between the lands comprising that megacity. They still would be worked/played individually

There can certainly be benefits to owning multiple plots of land. With each land plot you own, you’ll be able to produce more fuels and research more blueprints for skins. Keep in mind you have to actively play/collect the resources in order to earn.

Gotcha. Another thing to keep in mind is that land is not required to play the main Illuvium game being developed. Land is for the companion city builder game called Illuvium: Zero. That’s where you can build a city and produce fuel and blueprints for skins.

The exploration of the Overworld, battling/collecting Illuvials, and fighting other players in PVP will be in the main Illuvium title ⬇️

Not the Illuvials themselves, no. But rather, the scanner picks up on the Illuvial biodata… which leads to you producing blueprints.

Those blueprints from the city building game can then be used in the main illuvium game to craft skins modeled after the Illuvial you researched

As per last information it will not be possible to use the fuel directly in the open world. So it must be sold and purchased in the open world.

I think it's always good to split up the investments and not to have a full exposure to only something. So I would recommend to also buy some land. You will need to have some time tough and I think over long time ILV will be more profitable if you are unlucky and don't get any good blueprints.

Maybe it's also 3-4 months to early with the current market to move at all...this you have to decide for yourself as during these risky times when many don't believe in crypto anymore you can profit the most it's all about timing. And because nobody knows DCA might be the best for you NFA 👍

Whatever your SLP gains, they will be in the dashboard and you can collect it as ILV or sILV2 if that's what you are wondering, though IL itself does have an effect on the total amount of reward you get, that's why it's percentage is higher than the normal staking pool that doesn't run the risk of it.
