Well nice to know I have to submit a video of pic of the event, another hoop to keep the truth from being told. Hope there is someone that can pass this on. The last alliance clash our alliance did was RIGGED. The water truck stuck to the top right corner only. Most of the targets were with the same alliance. One alliance didn't get any water. This is unfair and shows that your programing is rigged or favours certain routes or alliances. FIX THIS, it's worst then some carnival games and a waste of our time.

Making it so we have to submit a video or pic is stupid. Weather I have a video or pic my comments or issues should not be silenced.

I actually think the trucks are random. It's just that randomness is very hard to grok. And it sucks when you are on the wrong end of randomness. (Looking at my two research cores after almost 1000 pulls. 😭 )

As far as we know, the trucks are about as random as a program can be. Sometimes random can look intentional.
There's no algorithm to make it favor certain alliances or certain paths. Especially since what it would favor would need to take into account a player-made NAP.
Do you really think they'd spend the additional time and money to "rig" the trucks? What would that even benefit?

There's also the bias that you're more likely to notice or remember an event that affects you negatively. I'm willing to bet you don't track every truck path every match you have with a large same size.

I have heard that it works.
It appears to lock you in at the end of signup (not the begining) and maintains eligibility until the match starts.
Identical to the rules the last couple rounds of tourney.
As far as I know it applies equally to Clash and Res.

This is correct. "Random" does not mean "fair", in the sense that everybody gets same opportunity, rss, clue conversion rates, etc. That would be a uniform distribution. Random means that everyone has equal opportunity for good and bad luck. So yeah, if you want cervezas, you fight to win. 🍻

That is actually part of the game play. Being able to move freely like you can in other events to interact with your state or other alliances is important.
Players have asked for that change repeatedly and it is something important to discuss.

Your personal issues have no place on the server for everyone to feel safe and not targetted because you disagree with how someone else plays the game.

From personal experience weve broken nap by accident and on purpose taken nap from other players. It's why the drama and calling someone out is not needed cause you never know the story of went on in that battle. I can highly see why it's against the rules

Top league is large as there are many competing for the prizes. Expect to win some and lose some. Also coming up with new and unique strategies to counter your opponent is part of the events to. I’ve taken down several alliance that were significantly stronger with good battle plans.

You can always try to get your leaders to negotiate NAPs where hq hits not allowed til the end. I know some alliances that do that to help people save diamonds so people can port to be closer but opposing team may not always agree that especially in higher tier of legend

I am the leader in my alliance and I have players who started in a bad state where being burned everyday was their game play so in order to offer a safe haven and possible growth their needs to be a priority on them rather than what I would like

Win or lose my alliance goes down fighting. Troops come back rally your hearts out sit in green and get zeroed. We are small compared to alot by always choosing to fight we've pulled some underdog wins off. No need to pick and choose fights get a nap so you can get 36k points then fight for the rest even if you lose

That why being the right level to fight alliances roughly our size works better than just trying to always win. I have a 2b might sanctuary that’s about 678m non troop might and there is another player same size in the alliance after that there is a massive drop off so giving others the chance to win means losing occasionally and I don’t see the issue

But the theory is that to upgrade HQ you need nanotubes and to me what’s better using 20-40k diamonds for the alliance winning and buying 100 nanotubes or saving 40k diamonds and buying 500 in diamond shop that’s the choice each war

Which doesn't mean anything you can easily see my alliance we aren't as strong as half these people in legend. But we've pulled wins off by fighting. We got 1 active 40 in almost every waters wars which means half the time we are out 40 and it hurts

I ednorsed three alliances, but no diamonds have been placed as a bet. Also I don't see how many people have endorsed one or the other alliance in a given match. You don’t simply collect water trucks. Periodically they get released and go to certain buildings. When they arrive at the buildings is when you “collect” trucks

The most water to collect would be reinforced in the most buildings.

Nap buildings only need 1 troop

If it's your first time doing water war, when you enter the map someone usually an officer will talk with the other teams to determine which buildings each team has that the others can't attack (NAP buildings). Send 1 rider to each of the safe buildings designated for your team. If you're not sure which ones they are, ask. After that, your team might ask for reinforcements for a particular building and you can send troops there. Or they might start a rally to capture an enemy building and you can join it.

If you watch the map, eventually you will see some trucks show up that will follow a path to certain buildings before leaving. You win by getting the most points, and you get lots of points by controlling the buildings that those trucks go through.

This week we are lucky enough to face an alliance that our strongest player wouldn't even crack their top 25. 🙄 It's definitely the worst and most lopsided match we've had. I am trying to figure out if there was another game glitch with tundra. Our alliance signed up for the first time slot 7/17 20:00 -21:00 l. I was checking on things today and it's now showing us playing at 7/18 14:00-15:00 time slot. I checked with all my officers and no one changed the time slot we signed up for.

This is not true. Which group of personal points is based on team placement. But your ability to get 150k points for the top tier of personal rewards is not… that is based on kill points

So team points determine if you are claiming from group 1, 2, or 3 but have no bearing on how many of your personal points you can actually claim. Aka is it fairly easy if you participate a lot but lose all of your boughts to come in under 150k even if your team wins and therefore be unable to claim many of the personal rewards

I get this, but my point is there is inherent randomness involved. I ran 6 accounts this week constantly shifting between them. There didn’t seem to be much logic to who go points beyond luck in the queues. My smallest account got the most points, one of the bigger ones in the middle and one of the bigger ones only got like 40k pts. They all were constantly sending and never idle for more than a few seconds.
This makes me wonder about the kill point system generally since if anything it should be the stronger accounts getting more points rather than weak ones by the explained logic.

I am truly trying to make a better, more playable and more coherent event here. I think 2 steps need to be done to accomplish that. First, better explain the methodology to obtain points. And second, perhaps create some metric for people who get stuck in the battle queue but never get to battle to still get some points for that time.

Example: account A is trying to take a dock but ends up number 6 in the queue behind everyone else also taking the dock since you don’t get points sitting in a held building. It only take 3 of the queued marches to actually take the dock, but you had to sit in the queue the whole time anyway and got nothing for it

Okay I think I'm getting it. Basically if you are out matched and have nap rules in place or you're a low might player you should probably just focus on the towers that are protected under nap. If you have higher might and are a stronger player it might be worth it to try to capture the military bases and a doom fortress so that you get more personal points

You can tell that the devs know nobody likes it because they did not even add it to this discord channel

I’d be curious to know both the participation and satisfaction stats on tundra vs clash/res. nobody asked for it and my anecdotal research has shown that basically nobody likes it

What timezone does alliance clash follow? Our team has varying times showing, for example mine shows it starts at 17:00 but my team member shows it starts at 18:00. it doesn’t make sense to follow local time in this case as we are only a half hour apart in timezones but the game is showing an hour in difference.

So if two people see different starting times, it’s because their phones/computers are set to different timezones or have automatic time adjustments enabled/disabled.

To avoid confusion, make sure everyone has:

Anyone else have an issue in tundra tussle? Every time I tried to get to a contested dock to battle for it, it was acting like I was tapping kraken. My alliance members were able to get to dock fine to battle, but I could not. I tried both a building on north and west side, but would not let me go to the dock. When I tapped dock kept switching to kraken.
