Hey there I have two problems. First one is I left 5 drakes to raise themselves at my base on ab. When I came back, they were adults but were all at half health and were not hungry. There is no one else on this server and nothing to attack them inside my walls. Okay so the aberration update broke both DLCS when your offline, idk if its something in the coding of the aberration update or the coding in pyromane and Bob's tall tales, but this is insane and impractical, ive already posted multiple bug reports of this. The dlcs were working just fine offline before aberration update

I’ve been having an issue with transferring to other maps on the cluster server I play on. Every time I try to transfer from one map to another and get the lost connection/timed out message that ask if I want to auto join only for it to sit there forever. I can’t even upload my character and try to join a different map from the main menu without it giving me the same message. well, the issue is when i ghosted to try and get tpo them - they were outside the ark and in free space - it triggered them to start falling - now they are thousands of meters away /facepalm

I've seen a a few youtubers who don't have issues with them and the beacons have lights on the surface. They worked briefly early on in Abb, so I at least don't think its intentional. Changing settings seems to get them to work for most other people, too. I knew they were 'bugged' for xbox, but I swear they're supposed to be fine on PC 😔
Are there any mods out or ways around the bugs as far as we know? Not being to farm loot on abberation sucks.

It's a desktop, I reinstalled the game, tried the dx11 launch, updated drivers, rollbacked drivers, tweaked settings from the drivers and system, reset the entire pc and none of those worked. The game was running (poorly) on my lenovo legion 5 laptop but still running on low everything and now I get this brand new lowlevelfatalerror on the new desktop. Rolling back the amd to 23.7.1 didn't solve it either. All I get is the intro music with a black screen then the error shows up. I'm at a loss, this machine is meant to perform better than the laptop I had and is proving to be worse 😵‍💫

luckily its running fine (30fps on epic 1440p dlss or 80fps with meduim 1080p), with crashes from time to time
I heard there is a problem in one of the latest ark versions with amd gpus and that you need to roll back to a certain driver version for it to work
not sure if they fixed this problem or still not

Let bee go then use repelent on argi and you then it's a miss and retry place rare flores on hotbar rush at bee if you don't get option to tame just repeat

Ab is by far one of the most difficult maps to play, and you'll die a lot , so go ahead and prepare for that unfortunately. Green zone is typically the safest, your biggest worries are ravagers, raptors, and basilisks, with spinos, crabs, and sarcos in the rivers. Plenty of basic mats like fungal wood, thatch, fiber, crystals, green gems, stone.

Blue is more difficult, with ravagers, nameless, megalosaurus, etc all over, but more of the harder materials, metal and such.

Red is the hardest, with nameless, reapers, and rock drakes, as well as radiation damage. Again, more of the harder materials, black pearls, polymer plants, obsidian, metal, etc.

Surface zones (the outsides) have reapers and seekers at nighttime, and are on fire during the day. This is where the normal supply drops are, as well as obelisks, but you need to kill the surface reapers for some boss items for Rockwell.

I've heard the swamp cave had good BPs, but you need a tek suit, gas mask, or scuba set to get in there. A baryonyx or thyla could be a good mount

zero-tier and hamachi are VPNs (works like a connection tunnel) that connects you to another person's computer.

overall I would just run a dedicated server (guides are online, #unofficial-setup-help has a video guide in the pins) since singleplayer/non-dedi has issues not just with connection but bugs as well. and the tether

yes, ASA has them but it works differently since ASE went through steam favorites. ASA can't do that.

Hey Guys. i have a problem. i have an Server on Nitrado. all set up and its running nicely. BUT for me personally... nearly each day my character bugs out and i cant do anything. after a minute i get kicked off. The character also has no Implant in the inventory and cant access anything. also my stuff that i had on me is not there. its like a copy of the caracter that i enter when logging in. any ideas ? so far i have to stop the server and delete my profiles in File Browser and then start a new Character. If you go to the waterfall in the middle of the map you can turn left into a field with some trees. Stay near the border and you should soon find a way down. Or just get yourself a Yi Ling, those things are super useful
