oh one thing with ase, a map like crystal isles likely needs other maps installed as it uses data from other maps iirc,
i know fjordur for example needed ragnarock installed as it used parts of it in the snow world.
check on the steam page , i think it tells you there if other maps need to be installed

There is no RTX tab anymore in the game settings. It's all under Video now. First, be sure to set the Window Mode to Fullscreen. Then, there should be an item called "Anti-aliasing", which can be set to DLSS, FSR, or Native, obviously you want it on DLSS. Finally, change Super Resolution to whatever balance between quality and performance you want.

I purchased Bob's Tall Tales on Xbox Series X and started up a new single-player game on the Island. It worked for a few hours it seemed, I was able to buy the engrams and craft items. But after I left my single player world and returned, despite having purchased the content, when I try to buy the Bob's Tall Tales engrams or craft any of the items the game won't let me. Saying, "You must own Bob's Tall Tales in order to make this item." So as far as ASA is concerned, I don't own the content I purchased. Meanwhile, if I check the Microsoft store, it says I purchased it.

I have a few mods running in this game, but nothing crazy that completely overhauls how the game works. Currently, I have: Dear Jane, all the free Additions Ascended creatures, Cyrus's Magna Geckos, TC Stacking Mod 10000-90, Greenhouse Glass Fix, a few of Klinger's structure mods, Marnii's Hairstyles, Lethal Loot Ascended, Pleyori's Cryopods & Hide Cryopods, Industrial Dehydrator, Manolo's Death Recovery, Prefab Station, and Ghazawl's Upgrade Station. Nothing that I think would cause a conflict with Bob's Tall Tales unless I am wrong.

I'm just curious if anyone else is having this issue and possibly knows how to fix it. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks.

After todays patch, my FPS crashed overnight...Barely any crashing issues yesterday with DLSS and Frame gen, now by JUST downloading the patch, FPS plummeted by 75% and cannot be fixed, with or without frame gen.

Hello, I’m on ASA, single player.

I had a Chibi Onyc equipped. I used the Fast Travel with a Bunked Bed and it got dropped in a bag. When I got it back I was no longer able to equip it. I can’t equip any other Chibi Onyc either, but I can equip my other Chibis.

Any idea what could be the issue?

I killed my character and respawned to see if this would fix the issue, but it didn’t. I also tried to close the game and restart it.

I tried to rollback to the save I made a few hours ago. I have the Chibi Onyc equipped, but if I unequip it, then I can no longer equip it.

I tried to rollback to my oldest backup with a Chibi (from 8 days ago), since I’m sure at the time I was able to equip it. After removing the Chibi Onyc, it can no longer be quipped.

The Chibi Onyc has a description stating it requires Expansion Pack Extinction to be equipped. Could it be that it was for a bug that I was able to equip it, and the bug got fixed recently?

But if you're ok with that we have a very chill and well run hybrid pvp/pve cluster. Owner is adding new asa maps as they come out.

The hybrid part is the way things are set up is that you can transfer stuff from pve to pvp, by you can't transfer from pvp to pve. So you can set up on pve, and if you ever feel like pvping, take some stuff over without having to worry about losing everything

It's 2x exp on pve and 3x on pvp(boss man likes to incentivize people playing on pvp)

Taming might be a bit high if you're looking for a more official rate. I think it's at like 35x(I can never remember). It's not anywhere close to insta tame, but you're not spending 8 hours trying to take a doedic

the server start commands need to be separated by line. line 1 needs to have all of the info for server 1 and line 2 needs to have all of the info for server 2. no &, +, etc. for separation. type out your arguments for the server launch for server 1 in line 1 then press enter then type out your arguments for the server launch for server 2 in line 2. batch files read each line as a new command. personally i prefer to just have separate batch files for each of my servers, but to each their own.

i also keep my session name in the gameusersettings.ini

and i have separate batch files to run updates then run the server after the update is complete.

It won’t be worse, but it’ll take more time and mess up your feedings each kibble has a specific amount of food that it gives The higher kibbles give more food therefore it takes more time for the dinosaurs to use up the food that was given so they can be fed the next time

well 450 is maximum level dino meaning level 362 is best dino including rhynio meaning anything higher is a wasdte as you cant get all 88 domesticated levels

All players not just flying, multiple servers, but yes, it does seem to have something to do with screen loading.

also if it happens to people who are standing still

if you are using steamcmd or a server manager program, there is a whitelist file that you can add their identifiers to for this.

you cant trap them anymore, you have to feed the parent fertilized eggs, the bigger the egg the longer it takes the parent to return

so giga/charca eggs are your best bet

Did the mesh/terrain mapping change recently because I'm constantly losing even more dinos than before, on Scorched Earth, because they keep clipping into the terrain and I can't get them out.

It's happening more often with wild dinos too, where just their head pokes out, but they're stuck in the terrain. Before recent patches lost maybe 1 every few days, now I've lost 4 in an hour from spots they didn't have problems with before. Had to close the game because I'm getting frustrated.
