Is there anywhere I can put a suggestion? I really like potting trees and decorating my base w/ trees and miscellaneous flora. I wanted the pretty red trees at my base but when potting those and bringing them back they turn into the tree that is in the biome my base is in. I think it'd be cool to be able to select which color tree you want or if the tree you collected keeps its color instead of changing relative to the biome. 🙂

you can absolutely breed out the stats, by simply mating it with non mutated dinos, as every baby has a chance of inheriting either of their parents stat, so it can be either the mutated, or non mutated stat. and same goes for color
but you cannot remove or mask the mutation counter in heritage

What im saying is, I have a megalo with 6 health mute, 1 weight mute and 12 melee mute and its red and green. I want to get the health mutes to 10, the melee mutes to 20 but breed the red and green back without creating a dirty line

what you could try is, glitching it maybe. by adding so many mutated parents/generations that the counter will eventually show a negative sign. That way its out of its memory boundaries and the game technically doesnt recognize it anymore as a real mutation. (Since once the counter is negative, the mutation chance will go up again to unmutated dino %-chances, so this might be one possibilty to bypassthe LC mutation restriction)

whenever you mate two dinos, the offspring will take either of the parents stat, and either of the parents colors.
like per stat, and per color region its a certain percentage chance for the baby to inherit that. so you just need to combine whatever you want in your offspring, and keep mating until you have that desired outcome

I've recently got this problem in my server where all users are getting massive framedrops when being close to wild dinos that are fighting/dead. It's coming from both consoles, and pc, including myself.

This did not happen before, when the server was starting, and it has started happening lately, about 3-4 days after server open.

I've done WildDinoWipes, tweaked with GUS ini file and Game ini files, but nothing seems to work. Any Ideas?

Not heard of that issue myself. Framedrops are seldom serverside problems unless it’s from overspawning, or possibly a bad mod update. Just creatures fighting should not really cause any particular FPS lag unless there are a lot of creatures, or especially a lot of creatures and a lot of particles created by said creatures (eg wyverns fighting manticore, with the dust clouds they can create when flying near the ground).

On a side note: Do you leave the server up 3-4 days with no restarts? If so perhaps you should at least add a daily restart.

I mean restarting the server itself, though occasional full PC restarts can also help on general PC/server performance. How useful it is can depend on the PC, though I do personally tend to do it together with the regular server restarts

This means for server I host the restart will take longer, but if you only have players in a single timezone you can easily get this done at a time with 0 activity. If not, well it is up to you how often you want a full PC reboot

Hmmmm, I just made a full reboot, pc and services, but I still found myself with the same problem. Could it be dino overspawning? Although I have it set at the default?

I do not believe there are any vanilla overspawns for servers currently, but if you use mods then there could easily be overspawns of modded dinos (or they affect vanilla spawns, causing those to go haywire). Overspawn would cause you lag regardless of if soemthing is fighting or not, as it is simply "too much shit to render here" that is the lag issue

I've set up the Game.ini so that Dinos that don't usually spawn on Ragnarok, do appear in ragnarok, for example, the managarmr appears in snowplains, the Snow owl in the Snow Forest, etc.

Yeah sadly I don’t believe there is a vanilla way to override those settings. You can only increase structure limits. Try remove place on foundation requirements that might override it.

the graphics are waaaay higher quality than cyberpunk by default. also a huge open map instead of tiny city "hallways". set cyberpunk to the higher quality raytracing and your GPU will melt and give you 10 fps

cyberpunk is unusual in how widely the quality can scale, from last gen level to near best modern graphics

as a temp measure untill you figure out how to get a beefier card, you can go into nvidia control panel, advanced settings, reset values to your gpus default, then find shader cache size and set it to unlimited. Make sure it's going to use those values, then play the game at medium graphics preset in the game. It's going to take around 15 minutes. This is just little bit of oomph you can go, to not drastically lose quality,

How to double active players and profits for ARK:

• Add Offline Raid Protection, atleast 50% dmg reduction to structures and 2x turret dmg.
  Without this, no one who wants to play effective will ever do an online raid on smth bigger than a stone 2x2, although online Raids are one of THE most fun happenings in ARK for both sides.
• Add PVP timer that prevents travelling to another server or teleporting so people dont run away with all their loot in an online Raid. This possibility alone makes online raids on big bases complete nonsense currently. This is obviously not how it should be.

A better game is a game that will be bought by more people.

Yes I have. I did a lot of guerilla pvp so pve is a cakewalk for me, even with no dinos. My advice: practice, practice, and more practice. I used default settings and it took a lot of patience

whats a good maturation setting for a pve server with friends? currently it takes 4-5 hours for an egg to hatch and about 16 to 24 hours for the baby to mature fully. it feels slow but doable I just don't know if its better to have it faster or what. Most videos ive seen have it set to like 10 minutes or less to hatch an egg and maturing is really quick I just dont know if thats maybe a little too quick.
