Well the only ones that I've seen in the US where I am is NA 25x which, has like a ridiculous leveling system which makes the game broken, and atomic which for my computer decided it couldn't load up no more. It's so frustrating! Cos I love ark

on closer examination, wtf is "sdf"? not a normal spawn command. i thought it was an alias for setupdino. it is not. use the proper spawn commands

same with summontamed and forcetame, you never want to use that in a live environment

the ExactDino command is broken, works for spawning them in but it was never fixed to work 100% from my understanding

it works fine, you just need to actually understand wtf you are doing with it. there is a simpler version

gmsummon is enough for most stuff, if you dont need highly specific stats

Hey guys I need help. I only play single player. For the life of me I can't seem to get many dinos to spawn on any of the maps I play. I've been playing on this last map for two days now and I'm lucky if I maybe see 10 dinos in three or four hours of game play! PC, currently playing on the modded map Althemia, but I had the same problem a few days ago playing on Astreaos

and the GMSummon commands also add an extra lvl due to the way the command works, its why i dont use them.

it is the TE bonus, sounds like the SDF command you are using adds the same exact thing, but it is bugged and does not refresh the status component and show you those levels until you pod it.
either way you can get exactly the level you want by just compensating for 50%TE

which is ironically the same thing "wrong" with exact/setup, but you have total control over the final level in each stat that way

Has anyone actually got the Armadoggo to work? I mean, yeah, I can tame it and craft all the armor utilities and such, but it just gets constantly lost or dead.

WC said they were supposed to ride any dinos you mount, but it doesnt. I think it does with the trike, but that is the only dino I know of. So, if I have to fly somewhere, it just ends up stuck, lost, or dead, in some random spot on the map. And often, to get it to burrow back to me, I have to log off and log back on.

Is there some way to get this thing to work? Or is it just super broken?

Well, I appreciate the explanation from Dollie about the ddos attacks being so severe. I was frustrated enough to want to boycott the game, though I did have a huge amount of frustration over the winter on Extinction. I’ll hang in there though I’m not really going to play much until things stabilize.

That makes sense. In ASE if a dino hatches with base+mutation that exceeds 254 for a stat, you can’t level that stat on that dino and essentially the stats get locked out. So in ASE wild stats didn’t matter much. Dino with any base can reach 254 via mutation

I beat the alpha dragon, brood mother, and ape on the island. When I did that, I unlocked all the engrams but I realized that only the tek armor didn't unlock. So, with Syntac's vanilla with sprinkles qol mod, I fixed it and was able to unlock the engrams. However, the tek armor still doesn't show up in the replicator and when I tried just spawning it in, I couldn't actually equip it. Tried everything but can't figure it out. Can anyone help?

When I play on official, I come out and look in my installed mods and end up with around 6 pages of pointless rubbish showing as installed some of which then slows the game down or causes major lag issues. It's something being able to see variety on the map etc but when it impacts your gameplay that becomes a different issue. It takes up mod storage and when I go to some unofficial servers or even play single player the result of ending up with countless pages of unwanted mods installed is hampering the performance of the game. The mods themselves are great but having them, using them or even seeing them shouldn't affect the overall quality of the game but at the moment I'm having to constantly uninstall all mods and reinstall the individual ones I want to use in order to fix performance issues

i see everybody used Z brush for ark mod models, if i use blender am i cooked?

different tools for different things, a lot of people will be using both. you can fully sculpt and texture a model in blender, but it's sculpting tools are primitive compared to industry standard tools

it has the advantage of not costing you a few thousand US$ up front like getting zbrush + marmoset + substance 3D

if you learn 3D modeling in blender, most of that will carry over if you go professional

L3 works to track item amounts and track materials needed to craft stuff, it just wont work to run

I just beat the manticore, and when I went to go back to the scorched and downloaded my character, the game crashed. So I went back to try again, and my character is gone. Can I somehow fix this?

I have a friend I used to play pvp with on SE and we both crashed sometimes when using the teleporters, but now he says he crashes every time and he can't even defend bases without being stuck in a crash loop

Sometimes I miss old ark before wyverns and fantasy creatures, back when it was only dinosaurs and prehistoric mammals

Mine did the same, crashed as I was transferring my character on singleplayer from aberration to extinction. The only thing left luckily were the most important items (rex breeding line and some capped weapons) but the character was gone

Now whenever I transfer I backup all my files

So it doesnt happen again

their game is just super super unoptimized, engine upgrade might bring some relief buts its more of a bandaid solution than anything.
unless they finally start properly optimizing their code we wont see real improvements. series s performance and blackscreening / crash issues are just their latest fuckup due to faulty shitty code

its that unoptimized that my 4070 (which runs everything maxed at 1440p on any game) struggles to get 60 fps on this game on low

60 is fine. You dont need more. I am not at pc so dont know all settings. Alot of hitching is rendering especially if they have skinsnon buildings
