the launch version ran at about 40fps for me on what i think was 54% resolution scale (1080p) last time i played (back on the abberation update (on the island)) it was about 70 or so until i disabled FS FG (which is broken in this game) with a console command when i disabled FG i got about 45fps at what i *know is 66% res scale (also what the **** is this 10 minute slow mode 😭 )

On a positive note. I've farmed more new tames and blueprints then in the last 6 months or so combined. One tribe, on the alpha pillar Centre, gave me a nice red Carcha breeding pair I quite like. A tribe in Carno cave gave me a tasty shotty BP that was reasonably priced and the tribe that got double teamed in glowtail had so many raised stegos in pods they are helping soak another right now. It's so fun.

Pc, xbox and PlayStation all share servers. It's great. My tribes all 3 in it. It means we can play with our mates regardless of system. It also means we are fat with loot right now as there's so many xbox only tribes that have been offline all day. People are going out doing what people do on ark and a few xbox kids are crying and throwing their toys outta the pram. Yet 6 months ago they did exactly that so yea 🤣 I've been busy today stocking up raiding tonnes of bases. Best loot day ever. Dear Wildcard employees, may I suggest launching a patch for the servers that inaccurately display the number of players on the servers? All extinction servers are shown as 29/70, 49/70, and whatnot. They are not displaying the correct number of players, but they are displaying them as full.

Been saying it for ages, but Microsoft just needs to buy up Snail games and WC both as Microsoft will keep the game multi-plat and have them better funded and HOPEFULLY, better equipped for better and actual release dates on time! The Tek dinos on ASE were released a short bit after abb released, but before extinction released, that's also when they gave the raptors a TLC patch where they made them tackle... And it was awful... Players got tackled left and right even off Krabs in abb xD

They released the Tek dinos biweekly while also introducing custom color events during the paleontology event during June? for paleontology month in real life.

They made us dig for dino bones and every week they'd release a new Tek dino AND new event colors for the week

Maybe best to not play PvP then since you already know wildcard would have pulled that eventually. It’s wildcard we are talking about. It’s just best to not commit that hard in PvP like that unless it’s a specifically run server that’s separate from official. ASA is a mess with bugs but having your own server for PvP would help narrow down the issues and prevent things like this since you can just prohibit offline raids from happening until extinction drops. Simple as that but hey, you’re the one that committed too hard with a game that’s obviously gonna have issues and you proceed to be upset about it as if it wouldn’t have an issue at all until now lol

Wildcard thinks that their strategy can outsmart the "law of cause and effect" and keep their paying customers, who ultimately pay every employee at Wildcard, happy with their bad decisions... But no, in the end they are left alone, instead of issuing an official statement that everyone can find and publicly analyzing this incident and creating a timeline for the XBox community, they prefer to remain silent and make the community look stupid... Last but not least, more and more voices are being raised that the update of ARK, which mostly rents expensive private servers and puts a lot of work into its cluster, will be boycotted because mods no longer work... Amazed at the number of people who don't understand this was a wildcard decision. Microsoft has a process, this wasn't a surprise. Wildcard waited too late to get the cert, then, instead of delaying for Xbox, they add additional content for PC and PS and remove the ability for Xbox to even play. Coming here to see if anyone else is having this problem or if anyone else may know a work around for now.
So when I log into our Non-Dedicated server 90% of the time I log into a blank character in a clean map. Sometimes I log in and its the same blank character.. but with some of our deteriorated base around me. And no dinos ever spawn.
After a few minutes on this blank character / map I crash.

If I try enough times before the aggravation sets in.. I might actually load into our map with my gear and our base.

Does anyone know why this might be happening? Or perhaps know a work around to fix this?

I’m curious if pvp players will actually see the Drednaughtus as a worth while tame since it’s such a hassle to tame but they are STRONG, at lvl 224 I seen one in a video with 144k hp and one swing without melee lvls does over 2k and with a bunch of lvls into melee (not all levels like a solid 65 points in) it goes up to 14k. If pvp players decide to actually go for dreds then they got themselves some giga killing machines as well as a horde of titan killers since they’re breedable

The dreads are INSANELY tacky as long as they’re not getting swarmed by a bunch of gigas and carchas but they get a damage reduction with facing bigger carnivores as well as a damage increase and combine that with Yuty buff, Gigantoraptor imprint, actual imprint, mutations AND mate boost and that thing is a fricken MONSTER compared to carchas. Now for pvp is definitely a tall order to go for them since you’ll have to claim the extinction server in order to have a safe time taming one but if they got a few high levels a mega tribe is just set for life if they start mass breeding and mutation stacking with gigantoraptor imprints and what not, I feel the dread could actually be a worst nightmare for a lot of people if people can work well around the limitations of the dread. It’s a tall order but I see a lot of potential behind that thing more so then carchas and gigas

Nope, those area fueled by alpha tributes. I tried sticking them in our tribe's tower and it wouldn't even go in.

The tributes are only those things like alpha tuso eye, alpha Rex teeth and what not, the parts are likely for the unique armor for certain Dino’s. The cosmetic stuff I mean (idk if it’s actual armor since I’m more focused on the wondering free roaming king titan, the weapon traits and the dread)

There wasn't a problem with PC and PS certification process. MS had an error somewhere in the pipeline from submission to them reviewing the certification. THIS is the hold-up. MS had to figure out what the problem was before it could even be reviewed.

i had this issue had to redownload my character on extinction. Just loaded an older save from the previous server i was before i was on extinction to get my character back into extinction and replace.

Also @rotund topaz not sure what you mean by "damages you off the dino" i was kiting it, it didn't kick me off the dino. was just ticking crazy dot dmg. no way to sustain it at this time which is a weird mechanic! I even had a pyromane on my shoulder but still took fire dmg

@formal stream make more space. ARK needs more space to patch than what the download value is. Basically it kinda redownloads everything and patches the game then removes the download when done.
