create a back up, remove mods one by one one until it works, disable all the mods after that and enable the one that seemed to have been the issue. If it works, its conflicting with something else, if it doesnt work, it's the mod

I'm not sure how to do that on console in the current generation, I've seen others say or suggest to do this prior to updates so that you have a save of your game incase it breaks, so I'm rather sure it's possible. A console person would have to help you out though, i have no idea about xbox

Its crazy to me that they can come out with this big annoucement for premium mods for Xbox when it seems like over half of the xbox servers are stuck in restart loops and then ones that arent are functioning at full capacity, all of this before a 3 day weekend, but yes premium mods are out. CPU is the main processor for the computer, all software has to use it. GPUs work alongside it to handle graphics rendering and other huge math calculations. games use both at once, for different things

I think it's great to know the story, but honestly to me, the game is all about taming, crafting amazing things, building bases and beating the bosses, my issues have been mostly the dcs in boss fights and some bugs

I never liked the tek boss and gen 1, on gen 2 boss fight just try it on single player, I dc so many times that I couldn't even go to the end

It's supposed to do that and it's percent based so it's fine and you dont need to heal it. Just feed it a couple stacks of meat at the last 10 seconds though because there is a bug where it can starve out at the last second.

When you say solo server do you have access to admin commands? If you do put in cheat ListDinos to see what all is spawned and see if they are there. That should give you an idea and if you may need to use cheat destroywilddinos

Maybe he misunderstood the tek cave? There is always a 5 minute timer at the start for you and your tames to get in before the entrance door closes. Then you have an hour to reach the boss arena.

a 1070 pulls around 150 watts at full load, so a 4060 would be fine, a 7700XT or 4070 is a bit more. newer GPUs are also more sensitive to unstable voltage from old/bad power supply units

putting a 4060 (or any 8 or less lane pcie4 card) on an old pcie3 board will further gimp it, though. not exactly ideal, and the 4060 is a weirdly gimped design even on a modern system

if you want to host or play mostly singleplayer, the CPU also wont cut it. online play would be better, less demanding on the CPU

depends on how you value 40$, really. it is still kind of buggy and does not run amazingly on console

if you enjoyed ASE and got a lot of time out of it, i would say just having mods on console is worth 40$

Always hate the weight system cuz, when im gathering resources like flying my pteranodon he/she can't fly back to base

ptera is not meant for hauling cargo. get a higher level one, or tame an argentavis. dont need saddle to use it as a cargo balloon

or just turn up weight stat/turn item weight down with a mod

Build the structures then carry them. It’ll be heavy so I’d recommend pouring most of your points into weight.

hit more arrows so the torpor DoT stacks up and they drop. or build a trap, even wood works for one use

As long as you have armor (I’d recommend flak)

You can just let the thing hit you while you tranq it

Bring some med brews and an extra set of armor if your worried and don’t want to build a trap

if you're on ase, you'd have to buy the map and either run a nondedicated server or find an unofficial that still runs ase. or if you're on asa you'd have to wait until ab comes out for it

Ark is still early access game, there is also a lot of problems with mods crashing the game. I advise you to check #patch-notes and #announcements maybe watch some serious youtube- before you buy. For me the game looked awful on xbox s with lots of gloom and blur, but since the last updates its as if I'm playing another game with incredible good looking visual. Despiste all the issues I would by the game any time

i’m gonna assume by lag you mean unstable fps which it’s possible yes but generally if you optimize your settings then you’ll be fine. ps and xbox also experience this issue depending on the circumstance.

I usually give them the other 4 berries, but so far I have been feeding my herbivor babies with cian, verd and mage berried and they are eating them on official

I play ASA in single player. Since 1-2 weeks (not sure exactly when) I have a lot less FPS. I used to have 45-70, now I’m playing with about 15 FPS.

Lowering the graphical settings has minimal benefits. Putting on Low everything that was on High or Epic only makes me gain 2 FPS.

What could have happened? Any idea on how I can solve this?

I think only wildcard can "solve this". The specs are higher now, at least I have seen many comments from players saying they have less fps since last updates @fossil parcel
