also my xp meter IS moving, just glacierly slow. it wouldnt be moving at all if i was max lvl

currently my tribe is prepping ass tons of resources to mass craft saddles next 3x event, which i think is dumb. lvl 650+ gigas in the endgame final boss dungeon on the island? nah you go sit in a circle and mass craft trash items for your levels

It's not a bug. They changed the way dinos search for food/eat to reduce server impact. I use crumplecorn's breeding guide to throw meat on my dinos and walk away and never had an issue

The patch was to prevent them being stuck in walls. Spawns are still blocked by structures and tamed dinos like any other dino spawn....which on PvE is griefing....so how is it not being dealt with after weeks of reports?

I think to prevent this, those areas would have to be off limits as soon as the map was released. To do it now would make them delete all bases on bee spawns? I don't think this is also a good solution.

So I was thinking on Nekatus's tweet from yesterday about ragnarok and fjördur and I got to say, I dont get the hype about ragnarok at all.
I got it at the time but I really don't think it was held up no where near as well as people think.
Like the only thing I hear about ragnarok is the world bosses and the canyon biome. The world bosses are fine but horribly out classed by fjördur's now and I bet most people don't even remember the 3rd world boss of ragnarok either. And while the canyon is definitely a top spot in ragnarok, I feel like most other areas are pretty forgettable, or don't hold up as well as other versions of that biome.

I just figured out that with a little luck a bronto can just barely fit in a 3x4 trap

I was using the trap as a distraction hoping the bronto will be busy aimlessly attacking it but instead it just climbed into the box and got stuck

you go next to one until it activates a shield. the shield gives you time to set up any defenses you might have wanted to set up, then it works like a wave shooter with a first nothing wave then 5 waves after that

you have to protect the OSD from getting damaged until you finish all waves, then you open it up and get good loot based on what color it is

blue is easy and gives almost nothing useful, yellow is the next step up, red is fairly difficult but you can solo it with a good giga, purple needs a few friends on very very tough dinos or a heavily mutated carcha

I'm currently finding out the cause of my constant crashing every time i load into Scorched Earth. So i loaded into The Island map and the same thing happened. Then i tried deactivating all the mods, and tried them all out 1 by 1 and see if any of them are broken. But surprisingly none of them are. So i came up with a conclusion that i just need to prioritize them the right way. But there could also be another issue that i don't know right now...

I did notice that a couple days ago. From what I could noticed, apparently that change was made for low setting in foliage quality. In this case it seems like when you finally stop, you start seeing the foliage start being rendered way after everything else, contrary to that used to happen, which was that simply foliage was rendered oin a certain area around you only.
