TGC could reset the progress of all beta testers... this way, only players who are actually in the beta to test the events and not just to produce content for their channels or satisfy their curiosity would remain in the beta.

The point is that most active testers only enter the beta to produce content for their channels and profiles, to collect items or to receive news in advance. very few join the beta to send feedback to TGC, report issues, and participate in testing events

Oof. Yeah. I will say that the book reading emote is great, but every time I use it I think to myself, “Well, I ought to actually be reading a real book.” If there was a knitting emote I’d probably feel the same way.

I wanted to see what it was like to farm flowers in Eden, which you can’t do in Live. And then thought, “Oh well, I’ve been locked out so long, it’d be nice to have more ascendeds.” And here we are. BTW it is very weird to have butterfies in Eden. And kind of problematic if you want to deep call to find a floundering person to help them. They boost you up and you get blown away by the wind.

Oh yeah I just remembered that some spirits, for example Nightbird Whisperer, they have the Rhythm ult mask but we can't get it at all either so that's same thing as the gratitude masks. I feel the masks really makes these radiance spirits look more interesting given their colourful outfits - rather than blank masks or default masks

Also the new emotes on these redesigned spirits really add an extra layer to their personalities I feel

i think it fits plenty. it fits much better than when people were assuming it was part of mischief.

Season should start soon this month tho, and you can always decide of getting the pass or not that day

Burning dye plants to get dye is taking advantage that the player has by now learned that burning them will give you something in return- the intuition of "oh this a dark plant, I must burn it.", i believe it's meant to smoothly intertwine with how the game has been played for years- burn plant, get wax, but instead of wax it's dye.

i dont really see why our character cant automatically do the emote when the plant is burned or at the very least if you are in a group if one person does it all people get all of the dye. because going in a group you cant tell who has what and it will slow everything down significantly.

Even in a group, there are interactions in the game where the player's action is individual and it has always been that way. Even in a group, if a player sits down to meditate, only he will go to the next level and all other players in the group will have to meditate individually

thats only for very specific things. the closest we have to this is tickets that each has to do it individually but this is a much longer process than ticket collecting. many players take turns leading in different maps or on different days.

Its more about efficiency because its impossible to tell if players miss because when the lead player flies it cancels emotes for all others if they are holding hands. so even if all players are active and paying attention its still a real possibility the lead player moves on too fast unknowingly.

I don’t think any of the capes with invisible effects are dyeable. And accessories aren’t dyeable yet either (it’s mostly capes, pants, and masks that can be dyed rn)

Maybe they’ll be dyeable in the future? Meteor cape and other similarly translucent ones are trickier to change the color due to the way they’re modeled, so if they are to be dyed, TGC would have to approach it differently from other cosmetics. As for accessories, my guess is that they’re just not the priority right now, and it’s best to focus on what players will see more easily- capes and pants.
A dev has said in this chat that they plan to roll out more dyeable cosmetics in the future, it’ll just take time.

The reason I said what I said before is because TGC needs some sort of incentive for people to help financially. For instance, days of nature has all the collaboration cosmetics where a portion of the money goes to a non profit organization that further takes measures to achieve set goals. In this case, since TGC has its hands full (and maybe not even enough members on deck due to fires) with upcoming season, and the urgency of fires, it would take months for the incentives to be created, paperwork to be filled, and funds to even be processed, let alone be sent to the ones in need.

Also I think it's due to how New Year's this year fell on Wednesday, therefore tgc actually returned office on Monday this week (like how schools here start on this Monday as well), compared to last New Year's which fell on a Monday hence it technically is 2 week for them to polish this season before release so it makes sense for it to be released sometime around next next week

I can assure you, most people would spend money on something fire around the world than on some other element…. We’re evolutionarily hardwired to be enticed by fire.
But I do acknowledge how it maybe sensitive for the ones affected, but then again, they won’t be the ones raising money in a pool for themselves..

Oh yes, so when we dye things we have to select a primary colour for the section we're wanting to dye and then that opens up the option to add a secondary tint - you don't have to use a tint if you don't want to, but they can change the colours, say if you want something more purple you can play around with blue and magenta pairings, or if you want something more vibrant you can have the primary and secondary both the same colours to get that

There are a LOT of items that are dyeable, but it is currently limited in beta. Collab items, shattering items etc can’t be dyed

Oh and hairstyles and stuff, yeah currently not possible but maybe in the future? We’re only halfway

I also think eventually collab items could become dyeable, but tgc needs to reach an agreement with the IP holders first before it can be implemented and that stuff takes time

at the moment we cant dye mask accessories, necklaces, props and only new cosmetics from radiance can by dyed in hairstyles, hair accessories and head accessories sections

there is one cape from the guide that is heavily adjustable for the outer layer, but likely the other ones aren't as editable outside of radiance because they contribute to the original identity of the season/event they're from and the design integrity gotta be retained

some of the capes do let you edit trims and patterns on exterior though
