I am very surprised to read these patch notes. I remember someone from tgc came in here and asked if people enjoyed decorating and using the nest oob areas… and people said yes, yet the patch notes says “fixed an error that let you place items outside of nest.”

I noticed this in beta too but thought maybe it was a mistake added along with the intentional reset barriers.
I have a nice rooftop camping area and the nest structure is well designed to allow for oob creations (outdoor parts that protrude, beautiful grassy roof, basement area), along with I believe their advertisement images showed a decorated roof area.

For the most part things are usually open to interpretation even if they have specific inspirations, we might find out what inspired the mask specifically but we also might not - if you want to see it a certain way then that's completely valid!

Eating the season art, cosmetics are beautiful, area has the potential for us to revive it into something stunning, but even now it feels very melancholy and beautiful. I don't know if it's intentional, but the cello model on stage currently is grey and green and it's making me think of like the area being lost and buried in time and moss and if that's the intended texture down the line and the feeling for the area I will actually cry it makes so much sense with it being hidden away within Aviary which itself started out lost to the gloom and despair

Oh also also I really am curious about the way the piano is intact but the cello is broken, I'm curious if it's symbolic of what's to come (or what has happened to the guide and their partner whoever they are) - I'm so excited to see what Duet guide has to show us next, I'm waiting for it to be emotional

Duet Guide has been absolutely cruel to me today. Can't interact with them in the seasonal area at all without a crash, and same with the seasonal trees. I see the guide as an Italian greyhound (or a whippet)
These breeds are known to be affectionate and get emotionally attached to one person (in this case the cello spirit) and find it hard to separate from them.

Both the piano and cello also originated in Italy.
The boat ride to the area also reminds me of Venice in Italy and Venice is also known for its musical history involving orchestras

An Italian orchestra, Rondò Veneziano (originated from Venice) are seen playing the cello in a boat, or playing on a giant cello structure in their album covers

hello! piano thoughts - I really love the fact we’re getting a beeg instrument, the grand piano is beautiful so far and the notes are really smooth and when I play it I feel peaceful

It did however keep vanishing on me mid song, so I gotta go bug report that

I’m wondering about the possibility of it being a duet instrument based on the position at which we sit and the season name, but then of course the portrait implies to duet is between a pianist and a cellist, not two people playing piano together so I may just be hoping for something that won’t happen

That’s just a prejudice but if to say more, I didn’t expect it to be that musical. I don’t really follow the whole testing of beta players but we’ll see if my opinion would change due to release

I didn't expect for a musical season either but I honestly absolutely adore it knowing that music takes up a majority of Sky gameplay experience, from the soundtracks to the instruments. I'm happy that there'll be an expansion to the aspect

Personally I love music and playing instruments, so I'm really anticipating this season well, but I have considered those who don't enjoy it so much, especially those on console platforms. My friend on PS5 avoids all instruments and music sheets because she's not really interested in them and finds the controls difficult anyways, so I wonder how she'll find this season when it goes live if there's a lot of instrument playing in the quests.

It seems like the aim currently is to introduce us to using instruments if the first quest is anything to go by, so maybe it'll be interesting, but I can understand people have reservations about it for sure!

Actually, funny story, me and my friend were having the same dream about new season (not so long before beta has opened for season test). Some sort of season of ballroom, we were surprised that we both saw the exact same thing: fancy dresses with glittering flowery trains and pants that looks like an ultimative prince pants (with sword ones). And when we saw in beta screenshots something similar to gala room, we both were in awe

Seasons end.. Hope there are more quests next update. Or they make a new season?.. Honestly.. When was a season last interesting? Trials season was interesting because there were really challenges.. But at the moment they're only making wishy-washy seasons. So boring.. Just chasing ghosts and that's it. And we've had enough music already. Theater, Aurora.. It's slowly getting really boring. Participation in this season in beta was very low. Maybe some things need to be reconsidered. Opening the door at the beginning was very difficult. And with luck you could only do it if you hit the notes right. But another season where the area is never entered again after the season.. Just to collect wings. Who goes to the theater? Who plays with friends and does performances there? Who goes to the deer area? Who dives into the abyss?

They should do seasons on the main path. For example, in the prairie bird's nest, maybe a new island with something, or something like that.. Where you have to fly through to get to Saint in the candle run.. Etc.. There are so many free areas in the main candle run so that you can do something there with new ghosts.. Like in the past, when the ghosts were represented in different realms in one season. Don't keep making bigger and more areas. At some point you won't be able to see through it all anymore. The moths are already getting confused because there are too many areas.

also in the end if you're no longer interested in what sky produces then stop playing take a break come back later

I'd argue that there's a lot of players who still visit the theaters, the deer area and abyss etc

Chances are high that these areas you find boring are the other's favourites and they visit it to reminisce their memories when the respective seasons were still active (don't forget that this game is a social mmo so these places are where players like to hang out away from the crowds). So it's up to people's tastes. I personally enjoy many different aspects each season offers, sky is meant to be a relaxing game, so it doesn't have to be too challenging like the trials

Also it's been updated that the notes are easier to get right, aka a bit more lenient and forgiving now but still feedback if you still struggle with it.

Performance involved some music, but tons of seasons have involved some music. I don’t think it’s completely fair to dismiss it as a music season. The functionality it added with the stage was really cute and went so much farther than just music

The only music part in performance was the mellow musician quest so It's not really a music season its more on the different types of performances people do on stage

harmony hall was like, a really welcome surprise that I feel more or less addressed player wishlist to be able to try out instruments before buying them (and it's really great for that purpose, I see people in there ALL THE TIME)
