So... I will obey the rules no questions asked.

Maybe, but some older OOBs haven’t been patched, which leads me to believe that if the OOB is too wide or not worth the trouble of patching up for, (eg. it’s in an important part or something, or it’s just troublesome for the effects it brings by patching it up) they leave it alone and and leave that fact unmentioned.

I don’t even understand how TGC still thinks that hearts are inflated and need to be increased in scarcity. The only abundance of hearts comes from heart trading, which is strictly transactional and undermines the core values of friendship in a game, as it takes a seemingly benign action of “gifting” something and forces a “return” in exchange.

I feel like this could all be fixed just by automatically gifting yourself a heart when you gift someone else one, and thus providing an incentive to give without expectation of payment.

The only other way to get hearts (that is completely non-payment) is through lighting stars in constellations. Which means that acquiring a substantial amount of hearts requires a substantial amount of friends. That’s not good, because it takes the benign action of friending and relegates it to a transaction between multiple parties.

I think you all can see where I’m going with this— the constellation lighting system prioritizes friendship quantity over quality.

And my fix for this is— that the amount of daily light we receive from friends should scale upwards based on the amount of friendship tree we have unlocked. Thus, we receive the most love from the friends we have bonded with most, and are encouraged to bond on a higher level with friends we might have just introduced from the purpose of transactions, thus fostering a more interconnected community in the long run.

I always get jealous of people eating at restaurants but when I do I'm viciously reminded that I am physically incapable of eating a plate of food in one sitting, I HAVE to eat it over a period of time (I've taken literally three hours eating a small bowl of frozen dinner before)
