Hi cozy...I don't think my dad really understands how mental health works. My grade in Government is low and when I explained it was because of burnout from a really stressful last year, all he said was 'Well unburn yourself out because you have a 43'.

I'm trying my best, but my ADHD makes it hard to focus on homework and my medication I take for it isn't working as well as it used to.

Insomnia is a condition where you have difficulty falling asleep. In some severe cases it can lead to going entire nights without sleep. I take medication for it that relaxes my brain and helps it get into the sleep state.

Fun extended events that add further context to the story of sky sometimes it's more vague than we'd like with new spirits, cosmetics and usually new areas to explore. They usually last for around 70+ days give or take and we get seasonal quests every couple of weeks or so that usually unfold the season story. We currently don't have a season active, we just completed Shattering on the 26th, the next season will be Aurora but we don't have a lot of info to go on yet.

So, we’re in off-Season, meaning there’s no Seasonal Event going on.
The previous Season was the Season of Shattering, and the next one is assumed
to be called the Season of AURORA. (We don’t know when it’ll happen.)

Seasonal Events bring 4 or 6 new Spirits to the game that are only temporarily available. It also brings to quests to the game, and new cosmetics. Once the Season ends, we’ll have to wait for the Spirits to be Traveling Spirits to get their stuff.

Yeah, mine is going down the bittersweet route too, but I got more of a mystery vibe going on. Considering that part of the story is that my Skid has no idea of their origin, they just remember when there were alone for a bit, and then got picked up by the Abyss crew

And I'll add, sometimes the season have storylines that play into the game lore, like shattering did, and sometimes they're just separate, cute stories like season of performance! But all seasons have sone sort of storyline that is revealed in the quests as the season progresses

Tgc actually confirmed in a reply on their Instagram that all seasons add something new to the story of sky so I guess it's up to us to interpret if we think they're separate or not, but the intention is for them to link somehow e.g. performance gave us a nod to rhythm in the final cutscene

And some seasons too present more gameplay aspects than lore. So take for example Season of Prophecy. There was more gameplay and new mechanics that were introduced, and lore took a backseat to it. There was lore to be discovered, but it was more focused on presenting new ideas and game mechanics to Sky

If there's any advice I gotta give, it's that. Just be yourself, do what you want to do. How you're feeling is valid, and if you don't wanna keep waiting, that's alright. Can go and do stuff. Though, of course you can't deny how your friend feels too. If she feels unwell and doesn't want to play, that's okay, you can't force that and shouldn't, cuz her feelings are valid too. Just as long as you guys communicate that to each other in a nice and effective way too.

A tabletop roleplaying game. There's one person who sort of facilitates the game, and subsequently world, so that others can play their characters in said world. There's dice involved as well to help resolve things to make things have reasonable outcomes.

Take free oneshot ideas, free sidequests, anything premade. It gives you a great headstart while you're learning to play.

Remember one of the first rules as a DM: Make sure everyone is having fun
You can give them struggles, but check in with your players to make sure they don't feel like you're crushing them out of session of course. Unless it's something urgent like a trigger for one of them that you have to stop the immersion

Dungeons and Dragons primarily run based off of the official books you can buy. In DnD, there’s plenty of species to choose from that can help you design your character, for example, half-elf’s or changelings. You can look up all of these on their Wiki. All species are different, and there’s a lot, but you can come up with plenty of designs just based off of their description.
