Its been almost a week that I wasn't able to log in to sky due to crash
So it's a huge rip for my seasonal candles

Now I was able to but when I go to different maps it crashes alot
So basically I still can't candle run both regular and candles : "

Android 8 users I noticed in some areas we don't crash if we don't move our camera, vault and first area of forest are like this

This means you can complete today's rainbow daily if you have a friend with warp. Stay at the gate and when your friend reaches there warp to them

hiii, i took some vids of my sky kid going to the village of dreams onsen (i also use android 8 so i'm affected with the realm bug). if you can't candle run anywhere anymore because other places are really hard to access without crashing, you can try and do what i did. maybe it will work!! cause man,,, it sucks if we waste this day without getting all the candles we could've gotten. better to just chill in this spot and wait for awhile to make up for what we can't get. i hope this will help a bit to you guys ;-; to me it's better than nothing 😭 this is the first part!

That's what I've always thought but all the shrines should give you a heart, they're not meant to be connected in any way. That shrine specifically hadn't worked for a lot of people despite never using them in general, it's definitely bugged and has been for probably since the game came out

But only at a olace where there is no spirit like grandma at forest, slide at valley, the 8 players lift, Inside forest cave and also eden (without any crash from the beginning and the place where there are a lot of wings. If sky is incompatible with your device, then you can't play and need a new device. Trying to download sky illegitimately is against ToS and ban worthy. There's nothing you can do otherwise

There's a compensation going on already but random people are getting candles/SC, (wrong people are getting compensated, some that are affected aren't getting a compensation)it's really messy and it's best not to expect a fair compensation as TGC has a bad history with compensations in general. Would highly recommend #live-feedback , even if the chances of them hearing the players are low, they still should hear you thoughts^^

I've been lurking for a while but i just want to mention, with this crashing that's happening i was able to keep the screen from trying to load the entire hidden forest map, and after several crashes i made it to the grandma spirit's table. It may not be much but for those needing regular candles this might be it? Just keep aiming camera down

Though anywhere else is too big and its always a crash compared to the smaller table instance

that i don't know yet. But since somebody said it probably has to do with map loading, i think instead of just turning your camera towards you, you might have to keep your camera completely down to avoid bringing it to normal camera view. walking blindly is difficult and yesterday, i went alone and accidentally touched a spirit, which made my game crash again. it's really a trial and error thing 😅 or you can also try going to the onsen, teleporting home and then resuming your journey from home. everytime i do that, i end up somewhere inside the village. if you can, bring a friend with you!! try to avoid places with cutscenes as well

The real answer to your question is that the phone is too new. The Exynos 2200 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 have not been added to the list of 60 fps compatible SoC's yet. I am also using the S22 Ultra and am waiting for TGC to add then because they are definitely powerful enough with the Snapdragon getting 1st place in benchmarks against other Androids.

I just found out that you can do today's spirit quest but only with a help your friend who has warp with you.
So first thing ask them to go to the spirit area and wait for you to tp them under the bridge nearby the crab cave. After that ask your friend to relive the spirit, while you wait under the bridge. And then warp to them when they are about to finish the last spirit step under the tree. After you warp stay in that position with the camera down all the time, and then let your friend finish the spirit. After the spirit task finished, you can even go to the cake inside the pipe. But always put the camera downside, just to be safe

I have two phones one is a Samsung galaxy s7 edge which has android 8 on it. My other phone is an LG style 5 which has android 9 on if. I have sky on both phones. The down side is that the lg style when j play on it I always get message k. Beginning that my phone isn't optimized for a smooth game play. I was curious about something so with my style I got my sky kid to the water trail I made it so far and decided to try something I stopped and saved my position and went home. I closed the app on lg phone and then got my Samsung which has android 8 on it. I went to the statue and returned to the water trail and did the whole trial with no crashes.

what i deduce is that the problem is our rendering and overload in sky. its because home and thr trial maps are smaller in comparison to hidden forest or other maps which is why no crash

Please for everyone's sake don't come in to announce that 'servers are back' or anything along the lines, they aren't back until TGC says so or majority of players can log in. In doing so it gives false hope and can lead to arguments and disappointment. If you can log in, that's great, but chances are you were bamboozled and you should probably double check before saying anything.
If you can login, do not CR or do anything as you're putting your currency at risk of being lost, as things may not register still. Being able to login doesn't automatically mean server error no more, please be patient!

This has happened to quite a few people in the past. Quests not appearing is often due to poor connection. After servers are fixed, I would try clearing Sky's cache (not data) . Try restarting your device if that doesn't fix it. If you can, try using data as using data will make it clear if it's your wifi. Using data should fix it if it's your wifi. Sky is quite demanding when it comes to connection so even if you think you have a good connection, it might not be enough. If nothing fixes it, after servers are fixed try #questions-and-help ^^ And make sure you mention it has happened before. I remember talking to someone with the exact same issue and I'll have to do some discord search to find whether I or someone came up with a solution

I kinda got into the game, but everything was done slow, like I give a light to my friend in constaletion and game gives me a text about it 5-10 seconds after,
