No it's a glitch which shall not be reported. You did go out of bounds, what did you expect?
Oob (out of bounds) is a very liked and preferred way of exploring the areas. People do it for reason and a big number of users play Sky because of oob. Some say TGC is even logging OOB activity trying to keep them for the fun of users. Report functional bugs which prevent using a function or playing a game!

TGC are still optimizing performance for compatible lower-end devices, but if your device is not already compatible, it is unlikely it will become compatible later on.

It's a Facebook issue, not Sky. All you can do is to bugreport so TGC can let Facebook know there's an issue with Facebook and rait patiently until Facebook resolves their app connection issue

***How to check device Sky compatibility ***

If you already have the device: Try to find Sky in Play Store. Empty cache and restart if you cant6. If it's still not there it's not compatible . If you have new top tier device and don't see Sky in Play Store, it's worth to #report-a-live-bug because new devices could not be added to compatibility list.

If you plan to buy a device:
Unlike frequent beliefs RAM and CPU are secondary. Sky demands and strongly depends mostly on 2 things:

• it must be a 64bit device (on 32bit it won't run. Budget devices are 32bit to cut costs)
• it must have a good GPU. GPU means Graphic processing unit. In sky the many particles & glitters & clouds and terrain/elements rendering are depending on GPU and good drivers by the manufacturer.

• 1: devices with higher android versions usually have less bugs.

Go to http://phonearena.com. Search and choose your device. Scroll down to Processor (see image below), which must be 64bit. 32bit is a no-no. If you ever manage to install Sky on a 32bit device, it would crash on start screen. If the device is 64bit, you're good to go to check the other necessity!

How to check GPU strength?
I usually choose Adreno 540 as a comparison. Its power is a minimum these days to run Sky without major lags.
Type in the search bar of your browser: [your desired phone's GPU] vs. Adreno 540. In our case I'll Google Adreno 308 vs Adreno 540. Click on one hit, for example notebookcheck.net. Scroll down and look at the benchmark graphs (the longer the lines are, the better the performance). In our example Adreno 540 has much longer graph lines, Adreno 308's processing power is not enough to run Sky.

If it is 64bit and overperforms Adreno 540 (longer lines), it should run Sky without major issues, hurray!

FPS doesn’t depend on chipset only. It depends on device android optimization and background apps as well.

Yeah sanctuary entrance even brings powerful devices to the knees for a second, I lag for like 8 whole seconds on Exynos 9611 and Kirin 710F and only one second or maximum 3 seconds on SD860

Ironically, the lag in Starlight desert is due to a CPU thing, not GPU. That is if you believe device load % reports. I would see CPU pegged around 90-97% while GPU would sit around 40-70% around the lag spot.

The funny thing is the Maxwell GPU in the Switch's tegra usually sits in the mid 50-70% in some heavy demand areas proving some areas are CPU intensive.

Playing on a Poco X3 Pro right now, it works perfectly every single moment, except for some fps stutters that happen sometimes, but doesnt affect your gameplay that much. The battery performs very well for a battery-hungry game too, 7- 10 minutes farming Forest took me 3% believe or not hehe

Did you ever hear of a game which had significantly weaker hardware requirement after a year? That's an irreal expectation.
Sky depends on totally different engine which heavily depends on Vulkan renderer which is often abandoned by proper android updates and if an Adreno 618 lags that's surely not Sky fault. My Adreno 540 has no lag at all in any areas.

Sky has the same build number for all Android devices. Therefore if it doesn't run well on a stronger device, it's not the app's fault

google play games changed a bit with some security updates on my device so I wanted to update my tutorial because the old one no longer applies to newer devices. new method for changing google accounts on android as follows:

open the google play games app / scroll down to "change account for games" / click the big green "change" button on the game you want to not automatically log into / select "ask every time" / now you should be able to log into other google accounts on the same android device from the sky app by clicking "sign in method" at the welcome screen

disclaimer: this tutorial is to help situations like families sharing a device but each family member having their own sky account. please be aware that having multiple sky accounts on the same device can corrupt data on one or both accounts. customer support wont be able to fix it for you if that happens. do not make purchases on multiple accounts on the same device.

From what i know Sky's language in android follows the phone's default language.
Perhaps ur phone was set to only have Bahasa Indonesia and Japanese for secondary option? If the first language isn't available in Sky it'd use the second one

Mali GPUs have been known to have outdated driver issues. When we had the Android crash of 14.5, it mainly affected Mali GPUs. Adreno GPUs were unaffected. (Snapdragon)

Actually I need to say one thing, the Exynos 9825 and G76 MP12 in the F62 seems to be somewhat degraded from the one used in the Note 10 Plus 2 years ago. It suffers from some lag and overheating which isn't very apparent on the Note phone. Something fishy on Samsung's end, they advertise the phone as flagship performance but it really doesn't perfom as well as claimed. But it still does 60 on sky tho

You can sign out, but you can't unlink. TGC also strongly advises against having 2 accounts on 1 device because of complications like paid cosmetics or candle count on one account accidentally transferring to the other

In those cases, TGC can't help you with getting your cosmetics back, or if you accidentally lose hearts or candles

i've ran Sky on my A52 before. it ran just fine, and i didn't face any lags or random freeze frames. but then again, it won't have the same ultra-sharp quality that you see on some videos. also some complex graphics, like the shining of a spirit or the cutscene where the spirit flies off to the temple after you relive them is very pixelated. i mostly play Sky on my iPad, where i don't face the pixilation, but that's just iOS having better graphic quality than Android

I have a 3a. No 60 fps, but that's due to it's mid range chip. The Pixel 3 and 3XL would be able to do 60 fps. I wouldn't know how well battery would be since Pixel phones support battery Idle mode and I just play plugged in without the worry of damaging my battery

And yes, playing Sky live and beta for over a year utilizing Battery Idle mode and my battery life hasn't been affected. This is a launch 3a (so over 2 years old) and I still have most of my battery life left. (Measures 2700mah out of the 3000mah it is supposed to have. 300mah drop in two years of use is pretty dang good for any battery.)

Yes, Android 12 is the last major update for the 3a. The 3 and 3XL didn't get 12. (Edit: sorry, seems the 3 and 3XL also got 12 but will be the last for them also) I don't get any stutters. Average frame rate of about 26.45 FPS

Pixel 2 performance is stable 30fps
Pixel 5 is capable 60fps but heats up and drains too much to use it continuously, recently experiencing some minor fps drops on 60fps

Tbh a stable 30fps on a good screen is even better than a so-so or battery drainer/hot 60fps (regardless its name I do know 60fps is not always 60fps). I have an iPhone too, thanks to its by the way lazy slow screen (LCD hardware lag) 30fps there (not speaking of much more beautiful graphics) is as smooth if not better than 60 on my pixel.

As I have been playing Sky with several phones (same account) and saw Sky on my gf's phone too, 30 fps smoothness is strikingly different amongst devices. If I had limited budget, I would not hunt 60fps, but would buy a phone which has the smoothest 30fps.

True. 30 fps on a 3a is... Okay, smooth, but stutters in some areas. Not noticable unless you really pay attention, though. Frame time consistency is there to smooth out the stutters compared to other phones that have bloat running in the background, hogging resources.

If my iPhone had only 30fps, I would choose it over my 60fps compatible droid anytime (poor droid ) for example. Not only because of stellar graphics but also because of smoothness. I hardly believed my eyes, even trying Sky on an iPhone SE 1st gen or a Samsung s10e was stellar compared to my old Pixel 2.

Sky on pixel 5 is smoother a bit than on my girlfriend's Samsung s10e, but I'd still choose the Samsung for example because it's better to hold (not so thin) and the display is much better and lively.

30 fps on switch is pretty nice. I wouldn't recommend 60 fps due to the frame skips. Only few areas on Switch reach 60 fps. Usually you're near 40-45 and the stutters are pretty bad due to the issue being a CPU bottleneck.

Depending on your device's memory management and Low Memory Killer, that could be normal behavior. 3Gb of ram isn't that much at all when Android System uses up to 1.3Gb of RAM depending on OS version and OEM UI.

A good example of RAM usage on Android 12 by core OS apps. For a device with 3Gb of RAM almost half of it is used by system. That would leave around 1.5Gb for all other apps you would have running and Sky would use a good chunk of that. (Sky uses up to 800Mb RAM on my Pixel 3a)

do you have any other apps open? it could be that you ran out of ram. Try closing all of them and use a cache cleaner, it comes with the phone. If you press the square next to the home button you should see the cleaner at the top

If you want them to read something, then it’s better to write to #live-feedback — they only read messages there though, they won’t give a direct answer back to you from there.

If you’re hoping to hear an answer back from them, it might be better to try reaching them from Twitter — right now, we don’t really have a discord channel to directly talk to the devs.

No, deleting something is the only way, maybe unwanted photos? Or there are deep cleaning apps which will help you get rid of junk you never knew existed, or how about compressing the photos? I was able to compress a 8gb file(school things) into 6gb without even noticing a difference

Device storage could be affected also, you could just temporarily move some photos/videos/music files to the cloud or a PC, update and move them back.
