It resolved most of them and if you experience crash, let the devs know and report as a bug 
But it didn't work
That has to do with local problems (the devices used/internet connection/location of friend), not platform
They can, Sky is cross platform compatible. But both of you need independent good connection and be friends inside the game to be able to meet
With location I mean people in ||secret area, eden, trails||
But it would give a message if that were to be the case

How do we receive compensation for the problems we had with completing daily tasks and not being able to go to certain areas? They fixed the bug, but nothing I've seen on the compensation yet.
We don't have any info yet on the compensation, it's something that TGC is still working on and there will be some sort of announcement when they have more info to give us

Third party apps work like a breeze! You basically just have to download a screen recorder app like velvet said. Lemme see if I can reccomend some

When I first downloaded Sky, I could easily record any footage with in game music. However after a update— and I forgot which— it would no longer let me record with audio. Not only recording, but streaming the game doesn't have any audio either. I did report it long ago.
Oh, and I tried with other apps too. I can record internal audio from any app, so I suppose it's a issue between the game and my device maybe.

You can't change the font
you can try to change the font style from the device itself, see if that'll work. I'm not really sure if it'll work
If Sky font became too large, it must be an because of an update your device received recently. This is mostly a Samsung or Snapdragon issue.

Your friend needs to get to vault (some even say Eden) to be able to get into season and get seasonal candles.

So why the one report the bugs get nothing while the one didn't suffer from the bug get the compensation?
Heyo, anyone experiencing this problem? My friend has been having troubles loading the game ever since yesterday despite her internet being in a good condition and her phone never experiencing any bugs
TGC use a process to determine who sufferred from the bug? But I do not get any compensation and see someone send a post on Facebook and said he didn't encounter the bugs but get candels.
A lot of my friends didn't get candles too and it seems that the candles are given randomly, it's normal? 
I met flashback and white screen before, but I didn't get compensation…

Please note that this is not gen chat. Here users should come with technical questions. TGC put effort to make a system finding out where the bugs possibly were, but as all systems this is not perfect as well. You need to acknowledge that a 50 people company needed to make an automated compensation which has its flaws. Sky just had its 100millonth download. It's impossible to be perfect in such high volumes. But they know it so you can fill out the survey to get candles compensation. 🕯️

/listen. they have made a flawed system, that didnt mean they did not try their best to compensate players. You will notice many players have been compensated despite did not have bugs, that would mean that tgc tried to the best of their efforts to detect who had and hadnt gotten the bug, but for a 50 people company, they cant help everyone
/the name of the device is usually undetectable. they might have used a system that look for certain checks like gpu or some stupid hardware bajingle
Why would they compensate unaffected players ? Thats illogical while many affected ones didn't get their compensation?

Well my system is 64 bit and yet it doesn't work.Ive seen people have the same problem and they somehow fix it.But if you download the game from updown(website)then it works.
Sky is not a very ram hungry game. If you think that's important it explains why you wonder. As mentioned, it needs 64 bit environment and strong GPU

How do I download Sky beta on the iPhone
It depends on the player. They said it was calculated based on how many season candles a player missed -- though usually around 15 season candles and 10 normal candles. Also, some players got some trail spells.
Also FYI, you can always search for a similar question on the Discord, as many people have asked this already. No hard feelings though, just something to keep in mind

They added several new areas and features, they needed to update graphics engine because of new features and additional fixes for black screen issues which may require a newer device

CPU doesn't matter, and in most cases GPU doesn't either. We need your exact model number since your phone manufacturer could have cheaped out on development costs and built your OS as 32 bit which would make it incompatible regardless of hardware.

Nobody knows. We don't even know if they actually will give compensation to those who filled the forms.
I understand well, my cell phone is only a year old too and it always ran sky very well, but now it's being impossible, it's happening much more often, and I don't see TGC doing anything about it to fix it.
It sounds pretty much like device degradation. My old pixel 2 still runs Sky smoothly everywhere. But with time it's possible that devices can't provide their full potential as if they were new. Tgc does much effort for device optimising. The whole beta program is about- partly - that. In #beta-faq you can read if you have an older device to test and report bugs, the more they are happy about it.
yes i understand that, the problem is that sky works fine on my phone before the last update, and in beta I'm having the same problem.
Yes the latest patch fixed only the black screen and crash issues which was a step back in optimization. As they stated they will work later after that. Also the past few updates in graphics engine a feature side were necessary because many things in the codes were outdated
yes, waiting for them to fix it, because it's been disheartening to go play and the game closes more than 6 consecutive times, and I don't intend to change my phone just for that.
The funny thing is that when the last update came out I didn't have any problems because I was on android 10, after a few days I updated to android 11 and I started having these problems 
Yes, as I read from Uzephi (sorry if I'm not very technical or punctual) many manufacturers messed up Vulkan graphic renderer updates on android 11 which is not TGC's fault
(haha don't worry) yes, unfortunately, we can only wait for the TGC to resolve this as soon as possible

I have a recent flagship but it still heats it up. As long as I keep it out of direct sun- it's ok.
If your switch is heating up to an alarming temp (Sky has gotten mine to 68C) you can always slap a PC case fan to the side of your dock to help cool it down.

The device has good CPU and RAM, I don't see any reasons it won't run
The problem is , will it run well?
Sky rather depends on GPU and 64 bit device is a requirement
You can be sure it will run Sky smoothly even on 60fps but sometimes Samsungs can have big font issue on Sky
The other factor you may want to consider Sky is very battery hungry so be sure it performs at least good (if not excellently) on battery tests.

So, when it comes to Android devices, what SoC offers the best graphics? Resolution, optimization, screenshot quality
Logically the flagships with the best GPUs, but people don't often come here with flagship experience, so it's not that safe saying this or that soc is the best
Snapdragon chipsets had more aa issues in the past, so it could be better avoided. It's better to avoid Chinese manufacturers too because the black screen issues or crashes were most likely because of incorrect Vulkan renderer updates.
Speaking of Android, it will never be as good as iOS or Nintendo because of Android fragmentation.
I don't suggest too big screens because that would emphasize aliasing issues and the fact that on android Sky doesn't have native resolution, the screen is always upscaled a bit. It worth to consider battery life too, because Sky is very hungry.

Asking about 'best graphics' for Android is like asking for french fries with the least oil. Bad graphics comes with the territory when TGC has been trying for over a year to bring good graphics to Android, but incompetent Manufacturers not properly updating their devices and following main line updates for Android correctly causes the chaos Android experienced with 14.5 update.
Devices that had proper Vulkan updates ran 14.5 amazingly. It was a huge performance uplift. I am so sad they had to revert the changes due to older devices and newer ones that weren't updated properly. (My Pixel 3a was actually able to finally reach 60 FPS on the original 14.5 update)

If your note 8 has 60 fps unlocked, it's not reporting it's model correctly. the Adreno 610 cannot get 60 fps. It would get around 40ish, so it is disabled for that chipset.

Kirin 9000 has a very beefy GPU but you can't buy it outside of China and it doesn't officially have sky, bummer to be honest..

Even Samsung is doing it wrong 😔 I have too much incorrectly rendered mess that I can't even show it to others without having them think this game is still in development(micro freezes too)
And it seems that quite a few people are reporting better frame rates and less heating, I think the render distances have been reduced a bit? You can see rocks "suddenly appearing" in sanctuary and same with vault and valley. But valley is faster paced so it's bound to have it. But it's just too prominent in sanctuary I will screen record it the next time.

Of course it should not happen. Feel free to report as a bug when Skybot comes back and please note the recent patch resolved only the crashes and black screen issue. They are working on the rest.

I have been playing this game since the launch of Sky, but recently I have seen some unreasonable behaviors by tgc. It seems that tgc never cares about the occurrence of our players.
There are many bugs in Sky now. Tgc not only does not fix it, but also reverse-optimizes some benign bugs. It ignores the player's feedback and chooses to ignore it.
The enhancement of the dark creatures this time really made us speechless. Does it have to be discovered by all players collectively retreating to tgc?

What bug's? Can you give some example of "bugs" you said TGC didn't fix?
For example, the water pipe diagram of the shipwreck in Mutu, a black screen appears when passing through the pipe, and the game is stuck. There is also a sudden lag situation during normal play, and I am not the only one who has encountered it, almost all players on the Android server have encountered it. The international server does not mean that the Chinese server does not!
I'm pretty sure that was fixed quite a while ago,,,, I haven't experienced that in a long time

I dont think the internation version could really help with the Netease server. Closest you could do is contact support if it exists there.
Does listening to music on Android to get the headphones on our characters work? I have been trying but it hasn't worked for me so far.

The headphones appear on your character when you play music or audio in another app while playing Sky (as long as you're not wearing another hair accessory). You can use them any time by putting on some tunes! 🎧 (iOS only, due to limitations in Android hardware)

We don't know. The reason why we don't have this in Android is more of because of the Android itself and its way of detecting external audio than TGC themselves

This is what I wanted to ask now about it. When I got to the rose it told me it had a server error and then I left. Then when I open the game it's telling me I don't got net even tho I'm right next to it. :( And it won't let me play

If you done it, think. The automatic compensation took 10+ days. Imagine this manual compensation time. Patience is the key

You can send a bug report to let the devs know. There's a chance the devs haven't found a solution to it yet
The more you report, the more likely they will fix. Also please note the latest patch was only a quick fix for the crash issues which had drawbacks

It must have been because unintentionally you must have exposed your account information online somewhere. Contact in-game support.
